Amy looked a little disappointed, but the thought of him coming in to talk with her tomorrow was enough to lift her spirits some.
She put the straw down on the bar and nodded up to Dec. "Alright, I understand. And as long as you promise to come in tomorrow, I won't be too disappointed."
She gave him a friendly wink but then grew a little more serious.
"But seriously, Dec, I want to thank you for talking with me today as much as you have. I'm not that familiar with that many people here, yet, and I was worried I wouldn't have anyone to talk with. You were a really good friend to me tonight. Thank you."
She bit her bottom lip slightly as she debated if she should do what she wanted to do or not. Then, she just threw caution to the wind and reached up and hugged Dec.

Well, part of the problem was Tes, deciding to sneak in the window instead of coming through the door. As for the way he was talking to you, I'd prefer to deal with that when he doesn't have two of his goons hanging around.

*suddenly feeling more self-conscious after having almost taken off his glove in front of Psyzapp, he feels like cowering back to his quarters instead of mingling, but that of course would require him to either go through the bar and leave through the front or take off his glove to go back down the stairs. Sighing, he tries to shake off the feeling and exits out of the office into the main bar area. Not really sure who to talk to and not wanting to interrupt anyone else, he sits off to the side, rubbing the forearm he almost exposed*
