Em-m-m... I don't want to insult anybody, but for me the idea of mpreg is kind of... weird - I mean, really, it even sounds silly - pregnant men. At least all fanfics I read about that weren't serious - it's a good idea for humor, though.

Um, I've never read a fan fic with a guy being pregnant. But just the thought of it is just gross.

Personaly, I like some of them. They can be entertaining, if written properly. Hmm... I guess it depends on what manga it's based on. I can see some Naruto ones... as long as the author makes it seem realistic (like "Kyuubi's a female...") then they're ok. But don't just make some guy randomly pregnant...

I like Mpreg if it makes sense.
For example: mpreg in a fantasy setting where it has been established that there is majick that can make it possible or that this certain race just has that ability.
The Elven race in a novel I'm working on has three genders, the male, the female, and the childbearing male. Normal males can't get pregnant, but the childbearing males have the ability and it's all been (or going to be) explained in an almost Anthropological way.
I don't like mpreg when it is not explained or has no logical reason. When high school boys get pregnant, for example. That's just ridiculous because it isn't possible. That's when it becomes distasteful to me.

I like it actually...if the pairing is good and the couple works well... xp
Such as-
Naruto/Gaara- Naruto's Kyuubi would deffinitely make it possible whee
InuYasha/Kouga- Inu boy's only half human after all, so there are ways 3nodding
Kurama/Hiei- Hiei is half-fire/half-ice, his parents races are both A-sexual, so who says he can't have kids either? question
Hiei/Yusuke- Same answer as the one above, I mean really, is that so hard to imagine? stare
And there's many more, the possibilies are endless if it is done right and explained right.
So frankly, as I said before, I like M-preg. heart
After all, your only limitation is your own imagination...

I don't like it that much, mostly due to I havent found one that makes real sense. Most people just throw them together without any real reason. I'm sure it's funny for some people and makes people think about some things (I have no idea what they would be D= but thats what I hear from people "It got me thinking!" What about? Never know)
I know in some parts of the world there have been strange medical mysteries of men -getting- pregent but for things like Fanfiction, I like fanfiction when they make it -believeable- and not something so completely out of touch with the real characters it just makes you say "Wtf...?"-But again, yet to find one that makes total sense. sweatdrop
Of course I do agree that for some animes different races and things of that sort DO play a big role. So again, its possible but I guess it depends on the person. 3nodding
Again, groovy for some people, but not my cup of tea eek

But if people want to expand their thoughts on the "what if?" factor then who says they cant? ^_^ I think for some of it its not really a question if your limited but if it really could be. But if you can find a way to logically explain it, then go for it!

lol only time i read anything like that was a couple of online rp's with my ex bf XD, we'd skip ahead online when we have the actual rp in a binder not even half that far, and forget about the written one...wondering how that'd work out for future and whatnot.

Well... I've never read a manga with Mpreg in it. But I don't think I'll like it. I mean aren't they both males, so how's it seriously supposed to be a yaoi when one guy gets pregnant? This is just my opinion. I'm sure it's good to others.

hdcaptain I think the possibility is fine but babies tend to ruin everything. Not if the parents know how to plan a schedule.
