This may be old news here, but i scanned the thread fast and didn't see it... i read in the newspaper the other day that fox is cancelling their entire saturday morning cartoon lineup. They're gonna put on infomercials instead. Not that fox's saturday morning toons were all that faboo, but still! It's the principle of the thing.

Awesome topic, seen it and began remembering the good old days of pre-school cartoon fix. Now its all news its BS. Well anyways here are some my favorites: 1: Mighty Max, love it all the way, even bought some crappy dvd copy on ebay, still watch it now and then. TNMNT, gummi bears, heathcliff, smurfs, spiderman, xmen, GI Joe, and many others can't quite think of them all at the moment, but I'm sure they've been mentioned, i'll have to browse this thread some more. biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin

Where do I start?
1) Rainbow Brite 2) Moon Dreamers 3) ThunderCats 4) Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (the kind that gave us 3 good movies) 5) Space Ghost Coast to Coast (it's more adult-oriented, but still, much better than the recent shows on Adult Swim) 6) Sailor Moon 7) My Little Pony cool Popples
I'll get to more a little later. I think the problem with much of today's shows is that they think children cannot cope with the truth, and do not tell them the truth. (And then you get children who say, "I can't afford to do ____," but that's another story.)

Duuuuuude! My shows are on boomerang now! I'm from the 80's am I really that old? crying Thundercats, Sailor Moon, and Power Rangers were my favs. But I love classics like My Little Pony Tales and Rainbow Brite. Anyone remember Fred Penner or those singing Canadian shows? When TV was cool and commercials had toys not male enhansement xp And Nickalodean rocked! Little Bits, David the Gnome, and Wuzzles and all those nosense shows! Anyone else watch Reboot and stuff on Toonami when it was cool?

I can barely watch the 1980's TMNT show but I love the 2003 version. Still, there's no excusing that Fast Forward sucks. I liked how the 2003 series was more violent, had an actual plot, and was actually true to the comics, even if they could only show the scene where the Shredder getting decapitated by making him an Utrom in a robot suit (WELL DUH. IT'S A KID'S SHOW). Too bad most of the 4Kids lineup comes from Japan. Fortunately, they have another American-made show coming up in January called Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. I apologize if I just offended fans of the 1980's TMNT cartoon, but my opinions on the TMNT are the unfortunate result of rewatching the shows with an adult mind and without the nostalgia filters or rose-colored glasses. ^^;
