True. I remember growing up, the street right in front of my house would freeze over to solid ice if there was enough snow/water covering it during the night. Not many people drove down that street, so the siblings and I liked to "skate" on it when it froze over like that. Unfortunately for us, they later repaved it in a way that it wouldn't freeze over to a completely smooth sheet of ice. I guess it's better for people driving, but as a kid I thought it sucked.
Similarly, I liked when the floor of the choir room at my first high school were dusty because you could just "skate" right across the room if you got a running start first. I'm sure it would have worked even better without shoes. Definitely worked great for knee slides. Ended up with some pretty dusty pants and some really strange looks from the other choir members, but it was fun as hell.
You prefer short answers over longer explanations.

True! Bad creepy creatures from bad dreams..... (I have to add to TES skating, we had a long hard wood floor in my house gorwing up and I used to sock skate it... I figured it also counted as dusting the floor biggrin )
You think that the insane people have been let loose as a Holiday gift (and possibly think the sane ones are hiding)
