spaceBas sometimes wondered if the lack of actual movement of the quaffle was because their team was good, or because they were bad. On the one hand, it meant they were successfully stealing. On the other hand, they were successfully stealing from each other, and never made it very far when trying to get towards the goals. He shot after Alec, hoping that the lack of movement would at least hold true in this case, since it would mean he'd stolen successfully before Alec had gotten very far.

She might've been sorted into Gryffindor, but there were times she thought it was only because the hat had been trying to curtail her growing dark side. A dark side that wasn't really all that dark, except it liked playing dirty at Quidditch. When Jilly managed to miss a bludger shot and hit herself instead, the fourth year capitalized on it immediately, smacking a bludger towards the younger girl with a grin.

Of course, Eve had made her opinions on Quidditch pretty clear. Still, aiming at a second year when she'd just managed to hit herself wasn't exactly nice. The seventh year swooped in to try and save her teammate, and aimed to hit the bludger back at Eve for good measure.
