Hmm...I've read a few mpreg, and I think they are okay...under certain situations. Like if there is a lot of drama and angst. I read one where the pregnant man tried to hide it from the other father from the fear of rejection and before the baby lump became too obvious, ran away. That was a pretty good one. ^^ It had a happy ending.
But for the most part, I normally avoid mpreg fics. I don't know why, really. I guess the idea is kinda uncomfortable to me. *shrugs*

I will take the time to say this:
DO NOT WANT.
Women have to go through that crap, why force a man to go through it? I've had a roleplay where many men got genderchanged and pregnant and to me it's just not right. Adoption is fine - artificial insemination is good - even creating a baby through freakazoid technology doesn't phase me but please...
NO MANPREG.

Everyone has there own opinion, but OMG it freaks me out. I have this weird obsession with things that are off, or go bump in the night. (I blame the Scifi Channel) Anyway, MPREG has been around for years in the dark, and with our younger generations, has hit the light of day. The scary thing is they are trying to make this actually possible in real life. eek
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
As a Gay male, not to mention a bottom (Catcher if that is easier to understand), I do not want this to happen. It is bad enough that I have friends joke about me carrying my bf baby all the time; but for it to actually happen. HELL NO scream

I used to not like Mpreg, I thought it was a ridiculous idea. Then a read a Percy Weasley/Oliver Wood fanfic and discovered - I LOVE ME A PREGNANT PERCY. I even started my own Mpreg fic after that, and I've never minded Mpreg ever since.

Um yeah...
I like my boys to be BOYS.
If I liked the disgusting action of birth or another person coming out of another place that is used for sex...I would not be gay.
Let the girls do all that stuff...Leave 'OUR' boys alone! stare

I'm neutral of M-Preg. I don't LIKE it, but I have nothing against it. Even though it's completely non-sensical, sometimes I have a craving to see something like it. As long as it's done well and follows some laws, I gues I'm okay with it. And it works with hermaphrodites or some other being.... I'm confused.

I have never read one, but I have read the yuri version. It adds a new element to the fanfiction.

I used to hate mpreg, but then I read the most beautiful story that I think I've ever read, and the main character got pregnant.
I can only read mpreg that is realistic (and I know that is kind of contradictory because nothing about a male getting pregnant is realistic), as in they have a backstory and at least a semi-plausible reason as to why it could happen, even if it's one of those reasons where you have to squint your eyes and tilt your head slightly to the left, there needs to be an explaination.
No 'whoops, they're randomly pregnant for no reason' for me. And as it was said before me, it is true that a lot of mpreg stories do not get finished and it's absolutely horrible...
Bah, regardless of what I like, I will respect all of your preferences as well. biggrin

No...I don't like mpreg...that's what women are for...I've read many mpreg stories, trying to find the appeal, but I always get disappointed and end up hating it more.

I'm writing an original m-preg right now, and it's so ******** up on various level of "WTF?" that you'll have to wait until it's published to read it. Oh, did I mention it's original? lol
