What exactly ar 'Wiccan dieties'? My Wiccan friend cannot seem to come up with a reply to this, as it makes no sense.

But they ARE Wiccan. Wiccan is a broad term, not just specified by the God and Goddess.

To make it simpler:

"(I can't remember the title she gave). It's by Silver Ravenwolf."
To Verb a(n) Adjective Noun, I'd wager.

Actually, I'd be willing to bet it was To Verb a Silver Noun.

You'd have a one-in-three chance of being right. Part of me wants to write To Write a Shitty Book, To Bastardize a New Religion, or To Make a Spurious Claim.

You know, I could suspend my disbelief in the Fluffy version of Karma just for that.

If that were true, then my Karma would totally suck, especially if my dharma liked chocolate as well. I do not eat chocolate except maybe once in a great while.

Hey, those are some good titles. I think I could do it. Though everyone here would hate me. Hmmm...loads of money from morons or the respect of a few learned individuals. razz

Wicca does not recognize authority! Anne Moura and Silver Ravenwolf are proof of this!

I don't know. That has a certain ring of truth in how you phrased that.

I just guess I found it ironic that she takes the word of two authors as though they are authorities on a subject, then attempts to claim that those authors are proof that there are no authorities on what Wicca is.

Her True Scotsman was hilarious, though...

Page 3 when she said that if you tell a TRUE Wiccan that they're not celebrating Samhain in the real Celtic tradition that they'll slap you.

Ah. I remember that now. My eyes kind of glazed over halfway through coming back to the thread.
