Lucinda said to a naked Neried as she washed her and told her a Fishtales story about an immortal mermaid goddess who meets a human, they fall in love together, then the human's friend visits the mermaid goddess and tells her that he loves her more than anything then the mermaid goddess decides to drink from the Life Wellspring to give up her immortality and become human so she can be with him and her Pure Act of True Love causes her to do so. Later she marries the human and they live happily.
