She looked a bit shocked and rubbed her temples now. Of course she rubbed her face for a moment. "So, what does this mean for me? Aside from the other family being, more then likely dethroned.", she finally mused to Aratagn now.

When she asked that he looked over to Aratagn for the answer as well. He himself wasn't all that knowledgeable about politics nor did he cared but since he was responsible for her he need to know too. This was now a bit of the answers they were looking for but didn't explain the whole thing. That was still something that needed to be looked into but for now it had to do. Though once they had there answer and Aratagn left he just sighed and waited for her to be ready to leave.

He did stop when she asked him what this meant for her but she would be able to see the hesitance of staying in this room. Clearing his throat as he looked to before he spoke, "Well with you being from a royal line you have a good amount of magic in your blood. It might explain why you are being hunted but not why or how they know you are from this line." Unfortunately that was all he could tell her right now. Even with this information there was still a lot unanswered.

She just sighed and nodded before rubbing her temples. Now she tilted her head at him,"One last question, well kind of two. Do I need to move places? And what about the money?", she mused. Well walking with him to the door, since she started to read the room. It was clear she was trying to figure everything out still; just like them.

Thinking over what she asked he just shrugged his shoulder as they kept walking. Aratagn didn't want to get involved with this now since he was still getting over that people he hired would do what they did. "Well with your house I don't think it would be necessary to move. I'm mean we could use those who come to try and kill you as more practice for you during hunts. So it works out for the better if you think about it. As for the money there are going to be some times I'll be gone and return with some gold to pay you.", he told her as they got to the lobby of the hotel. It was at this point that Aratagn left them as he went to go talk to his staff while they walked outside. Taking a look around while also listening and sniffing their surroundings he wanted to make sure they were in the clear and no threat was in the area. Once he was satisfied with their safety and knew they wouldn't be followed he started to have them start making their way home.


Once they made it home he took to his role as her new teacher quickly. Though his training was mostly physical to increase her strength. There were also him having to teaching her how to hunt mythical creatures. With her training he was more along the lines of learn by doing on our own. When she messed up he would point it out and make her do it again until she got it right. Sometime he would not let her get sleep saying he was preparing her for the days there wouldn't be time to rest. Soon it was time for her first hunt after he was sure she could handle herself in a real situation without his help. This is what lead them to Louisianan and the hunting ground of a vampire. Getting the targets info from the Hunters guild they roughly knew what he looked like and his whereabouts to hopefully find him and take him down

She walked with them and inwardly sighed. Only to hear about the gold and nodded. Though it seemed as she got home, Viktor just kept pushing her and pushing her. The days she had without sleep blended a bit to much together. Yet she started to get into a habit of sleeping when and where she could. Of course for Yule she sent Aratagn some pastries. As she got Viktor some plan shirts and pants; that were his size. Thankfully she had Anya to help keep her in check.

Once they got to Louisiana, she groaned. Though she was trying to catch some more shut eye. After a while they landed and she was already in her main bit of armor. Her chest piece was on, with her gauntlets, shin guards and hiking/work boots with steel toes.

Like normal she started to rebraid her hair and tied it up into a bun. They were in a swamp area, which made her wrinkle her nose. Yet as Viktor talked, his voice just was there. Looking at him, she blinked and tilted her head. She heard his voice, yet no words. "Look, could you have some fate in me?", she sounded annoyed well asking her question.

As they were walking through the swamp he was just on the look out for anything that shouldn't be there. The hunt was for a vampire and they knew his contacts and what mythical creatures would call this place home. So if he felt anything that he knew shouldn't be there except for hunting her he was ready. He was also just going over a quick run down on know vampire weakness but stop when she ask to have fate in her. So he chose to just stay out of her way as she continued her hunt. Due to his sniffing around he was able to find where her target was but since this was her hunt he wouldn't give her any hints. Letting her go about on her own he just watched and somewhat judged her based on how she was going about her hunt.

She had brought a decent size bag. Part of it was a first aid kit and another change of clothes. Along with a bit of food and battery packs for her phone. Of course her phone was in the bag since the flight. Now she closed her eyes and took in a deep breath. Followed by letting it out as she opened her eyes. It took her a moment, but she could start to smell copper in the air. Human blood, mostly, it seemed.

Now she started to walk that way and said nothing. Of course it would make sense to have keen smelling when you're supposed to be an apex in water. Once they finally got about fifty feet from the shed, she was sweating a good amount. Yet it was understandable. Finally after a few sips from her canteen, she hung her bag up on a low branch.

She carried no real weapons this time, aside from a knife and a wooden steak. The windows all seemed to be boarded up. And it was only this one door. Common knowledge said the ground would be to unstable for anything underground storage. Seeing it was maybe an hour before sun down, she just inwardly sighed. Once she opened the door, she heard movement in the dim shed. Getting pulled in and the door shut behind her back she hissed. The Vampire grabbed her face and looked her over, seeming confused and tried. "What brings a snack like you here?", he asked, well licking his lips. Your dead, as'hole.", she snapped and head butted him. Like most she stunned him for a few seconds and managed to get a kick to his gut. Pushing him back so she would not be against the wall.

The Vampire stumbled back and hissed at her some. Before he swung and a claw like nail got her across her face. In that moment Zina seemed to get pissed. It was a good minute or two of them fighting for dominance. But finally she managed to barely pin the vampire under her. Only to use her scream into the Vampire's ear. Before long she managed to make that ear bleed followed by screaming into the other. Using his lack of hearing for the moment. She flipped the vampire onto his back.

Stabbing a steak through his heart, with one hand. As she used her hand to break his windpipe and a snap of the neck. Now she used the knife to fully cut his head from the rest of his body. The head seemed to try to talk or something. But she dropped it onto the ground and gave it a healthy kick into a wall. Once it bounced back towards her, she spat on it. Before she felt her other wounds bleed as well. They were one her biceps and only a couple on her thighs. For the time she headed outside of the shed and felt the scratch on her face was from the left side of her nose bridge. But it stopped under the the outer corner of her right eye; under where her eye bags were.

Calming her breathing down, she started to head over to the first aid kit. Though if Viktor beat her to it, she would just let him clean her face first. Yet she would just rip her sleeves to expose her biceps and triceps to be cleaned. Though she was not aware that she was shaking a good bit. Her mind seemed to be a good distance away from the shed in the swamp.

When she was pulled in the shed he sat down and waited. This was her hunt so he would not interfere unless it was absolutely needed. Using his advance senses he had a general idea of how it was going. Making a mental note to not be to harsh on her when she got out for taking to long since this was her first hunt so it couldn't be helped. He could hear when she finally killed the target and decided to be nice and got the first aid kit ready while he turned human. Tending to her wounds he made sure to as gentle as possible and saw how she was shaking. Thinking it over for a while he eventually let out a sigh and gave her a actually hug to maybe shock her back. "I'm glad that you were able to stay alive. You did good for your first hunt.", he said as he kept hugging her. Soon though he started to move away so he could change back into his preferred form. Being in human form just always bothered him since it felt wrong and just wasn't him so he tried to avoid it when ever he could.

Adrenaline and rage were the main reasons she was shaking. As he cleaned up her wounds, she'd just stay still. Though when he hugged her, she felt herself start to come around. When she felt him starting to pull away she finally wrapped her arms around him. Followed by feeling an urge, that a thought to do something rash. She pulled back a bit and looked up at him. Her storm gray eyes searched his face before realizing she was moving in to kiss him.

He was surprised when she wrapped her arms around him since that was not what he was expecting from her. Not having felt like this in so long he wanted to
enjoy it for a bit longer. Not many have or even wanted to be this close to him so he hasn't gotten many chances to experience this. So he closed his eyes and leaned his head closer to her. Not seeing that she was getting closer as well because he was just planing on placing his forehead up against hers in a show of his own affection to her.

She felt the thought spur her to kiss him; when she thought about pulling away. Now she just gone with it and was nervous about his reaction. Finally she kissed him and felt her arms tighten around him slowly.

Once her lips reached his time seemed to stop for him. He wasn't prepared for this and didn't know what to do. But soon her felt a feeling in his chest that told him to return what she was doing. So he felt himself slowly tighten his arms around her as well as he returned the kiss while pulling her in just a bit to deepen the kiss.

She gasped when he deepen the kiss. Before return the deepness of the kiss. Though as herself, her hand found a way into his hair. Of course she was now aware of how much of a mess she was physically. Yet her mind told her to not think about that; only the kiss.

Wrapping his arms around her waist it was almost like he was trying to get her as close to him as possible without hurting her. He knew thought that they couldn't keep doing this in the middle of the swamp so he started to slowly pull away from the kiss. When he pulled away and opened his eyes something strange happened as Zina image changed. Now in front of him there stood the one he lost so many years ago and missed so much. For him though it seemed so real that he believed it and with, for the first time she has know him Viktor smile with tears in his eyes. Gently cupping her face with his hands he began talking happily in an old and forgot langue to her.

When he parted from the kiss, a small whimper left her. Yet, she slowly pulled back as well. Only to look up at him, confused. Seeing him being gentle was a bit of a shock to her. Yet she stood there and said nothing. Just letting him talk and doing this. Her heart raced as she stood there and smiled at him. Now she reached up and let one of her hands touch his face. Finally she noticed the tears and still felt confusion.
