He watched the exchange with a curiosity. Standing up he looked to his own arm. Carefully talons pried free one of his own scales which he then split into pieces. Closeing his paw around the pices a soft blue light slipped through the cracks. When he finally opening it he held the items out to the group. They were necklaces with what looked like a single small black pearl on each. "Take these my new friends. Should you require my help these will allow you to talk to me no matter where we are."

Perry reached out and took it. "I..don't think its a good idea to give us such things..that girl..she was a friend to one of our kind..look what happened to her..please me and Diam's only friends are each other..I can't bear the thought of having anyone else get close to us...I'm sorry." he looked down.

Dias watched everything in awe in his usual silence as his sister slepts serenely, cuddled against his chest. He put the necklace on with a light smile and listened to Perry calmly. "Sometimes things happen that we can't control, sir. But if we move on and learn from the past, things will become better."
((sorry for my absence. Finals for school and all sorts of things driving me bonkers. But it's all done now so I'm back ^_^))
