Pae'il Name: Seema Day: 4 Who is engaged? Pothos, Nagendra -> Jahleel, Nadira, other siblings
Seema had practically tasted the entire side of his neck before she realized they had dropped in height a bit. She didn't seem to care. She wanted this winged beast now. Internally, she screamed, disgusted with what she was doing, but for some reason, she couldn't help herself.
Her coils twisted and writhed to Pothos' efforts to get out of them, only soliciting hissing as he began to stab at her with another of his arrows. She could feel the small trickles of blood starting, but she didn't seem to let up on her hold... yet. One deep jab into her middle struck a nerve, however, and she hissed louder than ever. Her teeth bared, and instincts forced her to strike, driving her fangs into his neck. However, she failed to land a fatal strike, missing the vital veins that would render him helpless.
Still it was enough to drop them low enough she could easily drop from with little to no further damage.
She opened her mouth to say something witty about how delicious his blood tasted and how much she would enjoy devouring him whole once he was dead... but as if on cue, her Mother's voice rang throughout the temple.
She half rolled her eyes, half pouted.
"But MooOOooOom!!... I need to eat him!!"
She spoke the above in a half whisper then sighed. She leaned forward flicking her tongue in his ear with a giggle then whispering, "I'll will find you, my little Apple..." she promised with an almost fan-girlish giggle. "And when I do, you won't be getting away again..." She licked his cheek again before leaning back to grip the wings to steady her for her drop.
Just then, a wicked thought crossed her mind and she grinned, quickly repositioning her hands to grab 3-4 feathers each. She then uncoiled, falling from the Angel with the feathers as her trophy. They'd be enough to last her until she found him again.
"Come, Nagendra." she half-hissed to her brother. "Mother beckons..." She winced only slightly as the pain started to finally register. An arrow was still lodged in her shoulder, another sticking out the top of her middle. Several other holes littered her once perfect scales.
She made one last glance up at Pothos, her eyes darkening as if to solidify her promise before she retreated to where her mother and father were waiting, her other siblings nearby. Some were fine. Others... not so much.
Damnit... they got Sen'ka pretty bad... Those Fluff-worshiping rats would pay for this... ALL of this. She'd see to it herself if given the opportunity. She took up a position near her parents, eyes glaring out at the enemy while waiting for further direction.
Fea Line Pothos - Her little Apple! <3 rooooofl
shadica Nagendra - Sorry bro... maybe next time.

Pae'il Name: Nyra Day: 4 Who is engaged? Shakira, Empress Nadira, Emperor Jahleel, and any of their children gathered nearby
The lack of oxygen had her completely disoriented, making Nyra nothing more than a heavy projectile when launched towards Shakira. The impact was jarring, but only when the other harpy began screaming at her did the rage help her push through the dizziness. Sneering and lashing out with her talons, she took no care in who got in the way as she leapt to her feet. "Nyra no fool! You fool! Stop playing with little worm snake!" More words than the monochromatic harpy would normally trouble herself with.
In all the commotion, the big one she'd been trying to fight was calling for the little ones. Children or no, they all reeked of the darkness. Nasty things, needed to go back where they came from or die. Or both.
Though she'd just berated the other avian for wasting time on the little one, now that all the snakes were gathering together, Nyra was starting to rethink her strategy. It was one thing to take on a strong one alone, but a group of them? No...best switch back to tactics for hunting animals in a herd...pick off the weakest ones.
As the other took to the air, so did Nyra, though she chose a smarter target...one of the little worm snakes. She wheeled around and into a dive, stretching out her talons to strike hard and fast, then get away before the larger ones could respond.

Pae'il Name: Sen'ka Day: 4 Who is engaged? Naga faaaamily <3
Sen'ka heard her voice like a soft breeze being muffled out by the crashing waves of the ocean. She kept hearing it over and over, the crash that was beating against her head. Why had that voice sounded so familiar and why did it make her not want to sleep? She just wanted to close her eyes against the pain that was filling her whole being and keeping her pinned down to the cold ground. If she could just sleep...
Then the voice seemed to spark a bit of recognition in her mind. It flared up and forced her to crack her eyes open, “Mother...” she groaned. Yes, that was it. Her mother had summoned them to her. Was she gathering them together for their grand finale? Were they going to push them out together? Her blurred vision took its time to clear and she blinked furiously. No, as much as she would hate to admit it, they certainly couldn't be winning with the mass numbers of enemies that still stood. The realization of that stung her heart. Just let her die there...
She hissed at herself. No! She wouldn't go out a coward! She had fought a strong enemy, one she knew would be stronger than she, and she had done what she could, She didn't know the final tally between the two, but she had managed to come out with her life. Yes, that was worth something. She had fought hard and never turned back. She'd drag her beaten body as a sign of strength and what she had done. No one leaving this place without them could say they had fought hard. No, this was something to be proud of.
She pushed herself up onto shaking elbows. She heaved at the pain it brought especially to her belly and tail, but she would press on. That's when the feeling of being lifted off the ground again. She gave off a loud scream, adrenaline flooding her ready to lash out at the bird demon lifting her up off the ground again. She was about to attack when her senses kicked in. It was scaly not feathery and those colors... She went limp in defeat. Her Father. She was as much thankful as she was ashamed. To be picked up and carried off like this... What would her Mother think?
Another part of her realized she had survived and she would learn from it. She would turn the scenes of the battle in her mind time and time again to see where she had gone wrong and where to improve. She'd come out better because of this and would be ready for her future battles. Yes, she would turn this into a personal victory in the end. Even if others couldn't see it, she'd make sure of it. She had to if she ever dreamed of accomplishing her goals.
She was finally deposited and shakily took her time to life herself up, “Here I am, Mother.” she said with a bow to her head. She wasn't trembling out of fear, though that was there, but exhaustion and shame. How much of it had she seen? She inwardly scolded herself. Now wasn't the time, they had more important matters at hand. For one, how would they remove themselves from this mess? It looks like only a few of them were left... She only dared to lift her head for a moment to look them all over. The sad bunch they seemed to make, but at least they were alive.
And she'd go on making sure their species continued to do so. For now, they really needed to make it out with their lives. She lifted her head in order to take a look at what they were up against. Lucky for her, her eyes went instantly to the sky. They were the ones she mistrusted the most with their sharp talons- a pair that were headed right for her! Her heart lurched.
Once again her heart raced and her need to fight flooded her mind again. The pain was pushed out of her mind as she readied herself. She waited till the other was close before she dropped and rolled to the side in order to remove herself from the danger zone, but also get her in a position on her side so she could utilize every inch of her tail in a whip like motion towards the flying demon. Maybe showing her that she had another thing coming to her if she dared tried picking on her in her weakened state because it certainly didn't mean she wasn't alert.
Though... she couldn't fully hold back the growl of pain she gave off with using her torn up tail. Fight through it, Sen'ka! She mentally pushed herself.

Pae'il Name: Amatus Day: 4 Who is engaged? Aglaia, Erasmus & Fidi near by
Amatus squealed in fright at the sight of his brother with a bow in hand and an arrow pointed towards him. What in lands name was he thinking- then he was getting tugged to the side and out of the way of his brother's arrow. Oh thank heavens he was saved! And by the gorgeous blonde? Oh my what a day! Being saved by a damsel as fair as she!
“Beg your pardon?” he asked, blinking at her. Did she just say he couldn't be here? “Last I heard this was a public party. Didn't mean to crash it if that's what you meant.” Oh snap! They had gotten their information wrong! From the corner of his eye he began to make escape plans. There was no way he was going to get in trouble for crashing such a weird party! Ok if his brother was there and the answer over-
But she had him by the wrist and was taking him who knows where! Wait, maybe she didn't mean it like that. Maybe she meant THEY couldn't be here. He smirked to himself, oh man was he a lucky devil- wait. So where WOULD they go? Oh man this was going way too fast for him. All of a sudden the walls were coming in towards him and he couldn't breathe! He needed to get away from her-
Or she could crumpled into a small ball on the ground. Yeah that could work. He flinched at her wailing before jumping back, “Whoa whoa, lady!” he said, hands up in a surrender motion. He looked around worriedly at those around him wondering if they were hearing this, “I've never... gotten you... before... uh... whatever that means... I mean... I wasn't doing anything you were the one dragging me!” he whined, looking over helplessly at his brother for help. Usually whenever a melt down like this happened with his family he was the first one out the door! He wasn't trained for this! Plus, with accusations like these he could get into HUGE trouble!
Oh, man, this party SUCKED! This just kept getting worse and worse for him! Why did he ever let his brother talk him into it!? (Didn't matter in his mind who had actually done the talking, of course) He began to inch away from her, looking for an easy out. Yeah, he'd just blend in with the bloodied bodies and he'd be home free... Sneaky sneaky like.

Pae'il Name: Kleta Day: 4 Who is engaged?random fleeing naga
Kleta was mid-limpingstrut when she suddenly stopped in her tracks. She felt so... confused. Why was she limping? The goddess was trying to figure out the last thing she could remember. Looking down at her bloody lower legs, she was remembering the naga's claws dragging against her green flesh as she flew away. That was it. Where was her shield? Kleta spun around, seeing nothing that hinted at what had just happened. Worse, things had seemed to change quite drastically in this period of time that she couldn't remember. Eris was gone, the nagas were running away.... she had clearly missed all of the fun.
Infuriated at the idea that she had missed some great final battle, Kleta jabbed her spear into one of the weakling nagas that was running away and then kept walking... or limping. This was quite humiliating. Kleta never really liked to be caught without her shield, and beyond that she was injured. She was in a more vulnerable state, but that did not keep her from turning around with her spear pointed at the naga she had just attacked when he tried to retaliate.
Though she had no shield to block his attacks, she relied on... actually the dancing lessons she had received on previous Venus Days... in order to move gracefully out of the way. More than occasionally she stumbled over her injured legs and was punished with a scratch from the naga. The naga was taking a greater beating than Kleta though, and when the naga had enough and resumed fleeing, Kleta mercifully let him go.

Pae'il Name: Lannister Day: 4 Who is engaged? Adora and Naga
Lannister was too close to the flailing naga to avoid his claws, and consequently ended up with claw marks all across his chest. Some of the wounds were shallow, a few of them were deeper. And they stung, stung like nothing Lannister ever knew before. At least it was finally releasing its hold on Adora though. Lannister attempted to pull his spear out, but the primal tool broke in half, with the pointy end still lodged in the naga.
He gave Adora an apologetic look as the naga let go of her, and she recovered from the lack of oxygen. Lannister certainly could have gone about that better. The male was looking her over, out of concern, when a look of confusion crossed his face as he felt something cover him and his vision became obscured by a netted pattern. Lannister tried to remove it, but his fumbling around beneath the net seemed to only tangle him up in it worse. At least they weren't in immediate danger at the moment.

Pae'il Name: Adora Day: 4 Who is engaged? Lannister and an evil net
As the naga fell to the ground, the female took the largest breath of air of her life. Her emerald eyes fluttered open before instantly shutting again as she started coughing from breathing in a little too hard. "Thank...you....again." She gasped, slumping onto her knees next to the dead naga. At hearing a grunt and a russle, she opened her eyes again.
The poor fae was in a net! Where did the net come from? And why didn't he say anything? If their situation hadn't been so dire a moment before, she would've laughed at his flailing. "Mr. Fae! Don't worry, I've got you!" The female reached out to try and pull the net off of him. But there was something almost enchanted about the net. No matter how she pulled, the net didn't really seem to go anywhere. Eventually she dropped it to sit back on her heels. "Hmmm....hmmm..." She thought really hard before looking at her hand. If she could only make a real weapon. A dagger, a sword, a knife, something, she could cut him loose. But so far all she had managed to make was a stick.
Perhaps how that she had a connection with the pae she wanted to save, it would help? A frown furrowed on her brow as she began concentrating, hard. She was tired, but focused. Pink sparks began to fly, more and more until it was a ball of pure sparks. They solidified, and she could've cried in happiness. She did it! She actually did it! A dagger! She stuck the blade through one of the holes and began sawing away. "You'll be out in no time!"
Because of Adora's awesome roll of awesomeness, her stick has been upgraded! Yay upgrades!
