They arrived back at the Cafeteria.
Light looked up with a smile. "Hey, kid. You all right?" He couldn't help but ask X as he stood up and walked over to the two girls.

X looked up at Light and nodded, she still held onto Ene's hand.

"it hurts but the pain should go away. The nurse said I should eat ice cream and soft foods for a while. She also said it will happen a lot for a while until all my baby teeth are out and my grown ups teeth grow in."

Light sighed in relief. "Well, that's good. So, I see you and Ene are getting along well."
He walked up to the counter and waved the two over. "Get what you want. It'll go on my tab."
Ene looked up at Light. "A-are you sure?"
Light nodded with a grin. "Go ahead."

X slowely approached the counter and got a plain vanilla ice cream in a cup. She was too shy to really get anything else, even if he was offering.

Ene didn't want one after remembering the cheesecake she had had earlier. "No thank you"
Light frowned. "Okay, what's up? Something seems...off."
Ene shut her eyes tight. "I...I just don't want any."
He kneeled down in front of her and placed a gloved hand on her shoulder, a bit worried. "Are you feeling alright?"
She started feeling warm. "I...I..." Ene's eyes shut and she collapsed.
"Ene!" Light caught her. "X, go get Sasha. She's burning up." He spoke quickly.

Light held Ene, her head resting in the crook of his elbow. He took off his one glove and felt her forehead. Light swore. "What do I do?"
He grinded his teeth and sat where he was. "Is anyone behind the counter?"
Someone ran out. Light noticed them. "Get me a bowl of water and a towel or washcloth." He looked back down to Ene. "Don't worry, you'll be better soon."

Sasha came running in and changed back to her human form.
"I came as fast as I could. What happened" Sasha asked opening her medical bag , she had a wide array of medical supplies.

X whimpered and stood behind Light. She was scared but knew it was best if she stayed out of Sasha's way

"ene, she just...collapsed. She's running up a fever, too." He looked from Ene to Sasha then back.
Worry crossed his face. He could tell X was worried, too. He tried to comfort her with a forced smile but the corner of his mouth quivered.

Sasha took out a potion and poured some into Ene's mouth and helped her swallow it
"that should help with the fever. Has she been eating? She looks pale."

He shrugged. "She refused to get some ice cream but she looked pale when she came back with X from the Infirmary. Not sure what happened beforehand. She was wandering the school for a bit, from what I know."

"I see," Light took his over shirt off and set Ene's head on it, laying her on the floor. He sighed and looked down at Ene. "I'm going to tell you something no one else can know. Thing is, she's not my sister. We aren't even related. This...she's sick, isn't she..."

"Yes. I can make her better though." she said and drew a very little bit of blood from Ene, not enough to learn who's her parents, but barely enough to find out what is wrong with her.
