Ohhh, I can't choose! I usually like the ukes more (Like Ritsuka heart ) but some semes are just really...eee~

Uke! I always think that the ukes are cuter! But I do like the seme better under special circunstances. (For example, what is the seme is hella hawt? xD)

I'm finding that I hate more and more the prevalence in fandom of the idea that there are tops, and there are bottoms, and they never switch ever. Once the roles in a relationship are established, that's it. From my knowledge of the reality of homosexual relationships, that's rarely the case: sure, there are those guys who are strict tops or bottoms, but I think it's more like a.. Kinsey scale kind of thing. Varying degrees of sexual dominance.
Not to mention the level of maturity in writing that seems to go along with straying from this fannish system. I'm not saying that a series/fic/whatever that keeps the roles in place, and fairly stereotypical (seme is loud, rude, controlling; uke is quiet, feminine, weepy) can't be done well, but one that keeps to realistic relationships is probably more likely to handle other things realistically and maturely.
I hope that made some kind of sense. XP
