Pothos had managed to slink away from the drama pile of erotes for a while, finding himself a nice quiet spot to sit and brood.. and shoot more pae. He had just reached up to grab two arrows when he felt a prickling sensation in his shoulder. Blinking, he turned just in time to see Vika approaching him.
Wow. She was amazing.
Even the way she grabbed his hand wait what. Was that praise for him? Really? That... that... felt kinda nice... oh but why him? Surely he wasn't as deserving? "N-no...no I don't thin so.. but, ah.. thank you?" he tilted his head as he looked over the purple nymph, with her cute little bobbing antennai and the way she giggled.
It was the Giggle of Gods.
"You should be the one receiving flattery... I think your very presence inspires me." he said, feeling a strange boost in confidence as he suddenly, and quite manly, posed while loading his bow with his arrows, taking aim into the crowd and firing them off like a hero.
Awwyeah. That felt good. Firing arrows for his hero. He hoped the flex of his bow string made her swoon in glory.
Except she can't see them. Oh well POSE AWAY!
At least his arrows hit his targets at least. A rather curious winged faun (Avidan) and... oh hey that pale cat gal again. Hadn't he already hit her once? (Ra'tari)
Teigra Vika - editing fer arrow hits, Mene helpeded me :3 And fixing my stupid >,>;
Quote: Meee, Ra'tari - Pothos stop hitting my own pae.

Relaxing now that the arrows didn't hit kin, Aglaia decided to try again. This was fun, even if Eros tried to ruin it for her.
And arrow sailed through the air and hit her mother's fiance Adonis as he entered the ballroom. Oh no! She really was gonna have to hide now.
The other arrow went and found a target in a girl named Vika. That poor, poor girl.
The Fates were determined to have the Goddess of Beauty die today apparently. She figured this was her cue to go hide and maybe excuse herself from the party. Before her mother could notice, she slipped the strap of the quiver over her head and slowly and gingerly tippy-toed to the trash can to deposit the weapon. Once disposed off, she left the ballroom to find a good hiding spot. But not before one last glance at he hero, Poliahu. So sad she couldn't spend more time with her. But survival wins out over Poliahu.
Vika now thinks Adonis is beautiful, which isn't a stretch because he's Adonis, but Adonis now finds Vika so beautiful he must have her.
Vika, you may want to hide too.

The fliers for the party had been plastered around the City for over a week before the Wilwarin had noticed them enough to pay them any mind. Normally, he'd have been too concerned with personal duties to attend such a thing, but quite honestly, after his brief vacation alone in the City, he'd convinced himself that he was allowed some 'me time' once in a while, like any other Pae.
And that was how he'd found himself amid all this luxurious pomp and circumstance. Well, might as well enjoy himself and make use the provided comforts. He helped himself to a glass of punch, though he nearly dropped the cup when he felt a sharp sting in his shoulder. It faded quickly, but he turned to see what it could have possibly been...and found himself staring at the most beautiful shade of blue he'd ever seen. Deep, rich blue, accented with small stars...it never even crossed his mind that the Pae'il whose pelt he was admiring so was male. He simply stared, taking in the beauty before it occurred to him that perhaps he should offer his beautiful new friend a drink.
Picking up a spare cup of punch, he crossed towards Star Hunter with a dazed smile. Offering the drink, he said simply, "A drink, for the most beautiful Pae in the room."

He raised an eyebrow as she sloshed your drink, the lass obviously unaware of table etiquette. But she was having fun, so he made no comment. Even when she continued to drink long after his own glass lowered, he didn't say anything. Perhaps the dancing had taken more out of her than she let on? With his legs aching, he plopped into the closest seat. "Ahh...That is quite refreshing." He sipped at his punch, enjoying the moment for what is was. Wings stretched out, tail flicking in contentment. As he took a look around however, he was quickly beginning to notice a large portion of the guests were...well, fawning over the other in some way or form. Again he had to wonder what was going on with this party where everyone was centered around hooking up rather than the host - this Venus pae.
"Say Alma, do you live nearby?" For what ever the reason, her naivety, his personal chivalry, the odd circumstances...he wanted to look out for her until the end of the night.

As Lannister hung out by the gift table, mostly because he was looking after the swans he had left there, he looked out on the crowds. He was on a search for his father. A father who he knew nothing about. His brother, Porter, had told him that his father likely had yellow on him since their mother was the red coloring he had.
As he stood there, he couldn't help but notice all the arrows being flung across the room, he traced them back to the pae shooting them. Those had to be the gods. He tried to trace each one, but no one shooting arrows had any hint of yellow on them. Lannister sighed. Well, what would he have done if he had actually seen his father anyways?
Lannister stroked the neck of one of the swans in parting and then left the gift table, it would look strange to be hanging out around the gift table like that.
The fae wandered, looking at everyone. There were a few yellow pae, but none of them seemed very godly. That was when Lannister saw him, undoubtedly a god because he shared some of the same characteristics as the ones shooting off the arrows, but this one bright yellow.
He froze, staring at the god, and then lowering his gaze before he appeared to be gawking. Lannister knew it was him... at least he was mostly sure... How did he even approach him... a god? his father? Lannister began taking short, panicked breaths before taking a larger breath to calm himself down.
He could do this, Lannister walked up to the god, trying to look as casual as possible. "Hello... are you one of the gods?" Of all the things that could have been his first words to his potential father... he had chosen those ones. No going back now.

It had been a weird couple of weeks for him, regarding his best of friends. She'd been sent on a wholly odd quest, and come back with the revelation that she could talk to fish. And if that weren't enough, she'd been invited to this party, hosted by a mysterious "Grandmother". Anxo's hoping, and he thinks Mnemo is too, that she can find out more about her family, and her parent that wasn't Lethe. He's hoping that this lifts her spirits and her self-esteem.
But why would her grandmother live in the clouds?
The transition to land hadn't been as difficult for him as it had been for her. He has legs all the time, and he'd spent a good amount of his childhood on land with his mother. Luckily Anxo had been able to help her along while she got used to her land legs. Even without her tail, she's as beautiful as ever. There was something about how her hair fell without the weightlessness of being underwater that just...stirred him. He can't help but smile at her.
Realizing somewhat belatedly that she'd said something and he hadn't responded right away, he blinks a few times and smiles nervously. "Right, yeah..." He looks around, scratching the back of his neck. "Um...where d'you want to start looking?" The party was chaos around them.
