Samuel watched as Jayden came onto the pitch and surveyed the rest of the try-outs. He needed to catch the snitch now. A smirk on his face, he hunted out the snitch.

Caitlin smiled brightly. She had made it into the goal. "Good job, Elli! You did great!" She shouted. When Elli let the ball drop, Caitlin dove after it to catch it. Once it was securely in her arms, she flew next to Romy, "Your turn!" Caitlin said, handing him the quaffle, then waited for him to start flying again so she could steal.

Caitlin nodded, "No problem!" She shouted back, then took off after him. She glanced around the pitch, Sam was hunting the snitch, Cameron, Sun, and Keith were hitting bludgers away, and Elli and Sean were protecting the goals. Once she had gotten caught up with him, she leaned ever so lightly in his direction, going in for a steal.

Although Cameron swung the bat with as much force as the twelve year old possibly could, he swung too early. The bludger hit him directly in the cheek. "Bloody arse!" he yelled as he threw his hand up onto his face, feeling the skin begin to swell. His cheekbone felt numb as it started developing a dark bruise.

Caitlin had missed and she grimaced. Then heard Cameron yell. She turned around and saw him holding his face. She stopped her pursuit of the quaffle and rushed toward him. Caitlin stopped when she was beside him. "Cameron! Are you okay?" She asked, her brown eyes seaching his face as she gently set her hand on his shoulder.

As the boy rubbed his face, he felt a hand softly touch his shoulder. "Uh, yeah, I'm fine," he said, trying to act like the tough guy. Inside, he was crying from the pain. Even though Cameron's eyes watered a bit, he didn't let one tear slip out. This was a trick he'd learned during one of the fights he got into a couple years ago with one of the boys who attended the same school as he.

Caitlin frowned, but nodded. "Can I see it?" She asked, her own hand on the one covering his cheek. Her free hand tugging at a strand of hair. She knew she should be trying to get the quaffle, but her friend was more important right now. Caitlin turned when Sun yelled and watched him fall in horror. "Oh my..." She managed to get out before covering her mouth with her hand.

Romy watched in horror as Sun fell to the ground. He followed on his broom, landing beside his new friend. He touched Sun's arm, his eyes huge. "S-Sun? You okay?" he said, his voice a soft squeak.
