When Lexi was seated, she took up the menu into her hands and looked it over, biting her bottom lip as she usually did when making a decision. But when she heard Dylan speak up after a few minutes of silence, she looked up at him and immediately smiled. "Oh! Well, I'm thinking of having some mushu pork, how about you?" She asked him as she closed her menu and placed it to the side.

"I think I might get some chicken choe main." Dylan glanced at their soda options before putting his menu down as well. He felt awkward again. He didn't get how at school this was easy but here and now he couldn't think of anything to say. Hell when he went to her house it was easy.

Lexi nodded in his direction before a waiter happily approached the two. He was cheerful and polite, although he did stare at Lexi for a bit too long before he shaped up. Once they both got their orders in and gave him their menus, they just had to wait now. Lifting her glass of water to her lips, the young blond's eyes looked back to Dylan. "So, what's your favorite color?" She asked with an innocent laugh as she took a sip of her water. "Odd I know. But it's better than sitting in awkward silence."

"Green actually. Yours?" Dylan couldn't ignore that logic. He didn't want to tell the waiter to buzz off when he lingered too long on Lexi. Could the man not see they were on a date or something, maybe it was their being too quiet or something.

Lexi chuckled a bit, resting her elbows on the table and her head in her hands once se placed the glass of water back on the table. "Oh really? I actually like green too, but it's a tie between that and purple. I like purple 'cause it's so pretty and pink is just ech, but green to show off my Irish pride." She said, her giggling more prominent now as she flashed him another charming smile.

"Yeah I'd say purple is better then pink, but for me most things are." Dylan was glad for the dislike of pink. And was glad to know a little bit more about Lexi, and he couldn't resist that sweet smile. Everything about her was lovely, apart form her reform of social status. He had to admit that was a bit off putting.

"Yeah, I feel the same. Growing up, everyone tried to dress me up in frilly pink dresses, but no, I wouldn't have it. There's a funny home video of me running around a photographer's studio when I was 4 trying to rip the damn thing off and no one could catch me." Lexi replied with another laugh, the memory was still really funny and scarily vivid still. "Well okay... hm, what about movies? What's your favorite genre or your favorite movie in general?" She asked sweetly.

Dylan laughed at that. "I remember my mom trying to get me to poise in this stupid sailors suit once. I was probably six by then. I hid from her and took a magic marker to the thing. She was so mad when she finally found me." He could remember his mother complaining about the cost of the outfit. "Umm movies. Well mostly indie kind of films. I really couldn't pick a favorite. But I'll watch just about anything. My mom she likes to get romantic comedies. Or watch the sappy hallmark or lifetime movies." He shook his at the thought of some of them. "What do you like to watch?"
