Ravenclaw Common Room

[Nekko fire fox]

"Okay, thank you for the info Myles. I'll go wander about the grounds now."  

[Mylian]

Myles waits very carefully, and now that the other Ravenclaws are all focused on their own interests he slips away to the boys' dorm.

There he finds his two trunks at the foot of a bed. A newer, slightly smaller one on top of a larger antiquated one.

He moves the smaller one to the bed, then moves to open the larger trunk with the clay key. Pressed against the brass of the front panel, the key becomes a knob. He turns it clockwise and opens the lid to an empty trunk.

He removes the knob, climbs in, and closes the lid from inside. Anyone from outside could open the lid without the knob, but they would find only a trunk filled with clothes and perfectly ordinary belongings.

Inside, Myles climbs down a ladder to a study, one side devoted to books and the other to a workspace. He sits in a chair at a reading desk, and places his hand on the seal. It pops open of its own accord.

He then begins reading a message that he will someday write.

Nekko walks into the common room her hair wet with rain. "Oh boy that rain came out of no-wheres." Nekko shakes water out of her hair.

Myles eventually comes down from the boy's dorms to the common room, sits in a comfortable chair, and thinks.

Noelle wanders about the common room bored with nothing to do.

"does anyone wanna play wizarding chess?"  

[Mylian]

"I was never one for chess. Never bothered with the finer tactical points. I think I'll stick to contemplating a paradox or two that I have recently come across."  

[Daliaveyani]

"I'll play you" Noelle says grinning "How is your game? I haven't been beat since I learned to play" she smiled and carefully dumped her chess pieces onto the table between them.

"I'll play you" Noelle says grinning "How is your game? I haven't been beat since I learned to play" she smiled and carefully dumped her chess pieces onto the table between them.

"Not very good I'm afraid." Nekko dumps her chess men on the table and they try to run away.

"You'll train em up!" Noelle said smiling 'Or we'll train her' the queen says casually.

"Train me?" Nekko tries to round up her pieces and get them to where they belong.

"She just means they'll teach you how to play... Unless of course your set is jinxed, my sister had a set like that once it was pretty funny! Mine are pretty old that's why they like me" Noelle laughs as she watches her set go to there respective places.  

[Mylian]

While the others are distracted with chess, Myles exits the common room.
