Cursed Love

Xavier handed Rina the soda that she had been reaching for, smiling as he took his seat beside her, opening his and taking a sip. Watching the teacher make his way to his desk, having other students fix the table, Xavier shook his head. "Lazy scum.." He muttered under his breath, glaring at the teacher as he began his lecture.

Rina opened hers as well and drank some of it. Hearing him say something, she didn't say anything to that and just watched the teacher, slightly tired and bored.

As soon as the teacher started writing the required notes for the nights homework, Xavier began copying the notes down, looking over at Rina, wondering why she hadn't answered. He didn't really know what to say about it, all he could say was that maybe she was tired or still jumpy from whatever had happened yesterday.

She copied down what the teacher was writing as well, as the students finally finished fixing the table. Rina glanced over at him. Smiling a little she put her books in a pile in front of her, knowing that class would be over soon.

Xavier finished his notes quickly, ignoring the teacher as he explained the notes further for the rset of the class. Knowing that the rest of the class was free time, Xavier pulled out his unfinished work from previous classes and began to work on that, focusing on it.

Putting her arms down on the table and crossing them, she rested her head on them and closed her eyes. She spaced out as the teacher's voice just became a quiet sound in the background.

Xavier watched Rina, wondering if she was falling asleep, finding it peaceful to watch her. He thought it was adorable, so he kept watching her, now ignoring his uncomplete work, more focused on Rina.

She had begun to fall asleep when she opened her eyes to find Xavier looking at her. Lifting her head a little, she wondered if something was wrong since she didn't know how long she had been out of it.

Xavier chuckled quietly and gave her a sheepish smile, somewhat embarassed that she'd caught him staring. He hadn't meant to, but still, she'd caught him staring.

She laughed a little realizing what had happened before straightening her back and taking another drink of the soda that he had brought her. Rina smiled, looking ahead as she put her drink down.

Xavier still had that sheepish smile on his face, still embarassed that she'd caught him staring at her. He didn't know what to say, it surprised him that she was laughing instead of going off on him or avoiding him.

The bell rand just as she set her drink down. Rina got up, looking over at him, seeing that he still had the sheepish smile. Picking up her books and the drinks, she thanked him for it before heading for the door.

Xavier picked up his drink, setting it on his books and then pushing his books to his chest to keep the drink hidden and to keep it from falling as he was walking down the hallway. Gym was his next class, and he wasn't allowed to participate for the week because he couldn't control his temper, as the gym teacher had said. Going to his locker, Xavier grabbed the stuff for the work that he didn't have done, knowing that he'd do that the whole time.

Walking into her science class, she looked around, hoping that they wouldn't be taking notes again. Going over to the window, she sat down in her usual seat and she looked out the window, not paying attention to anyone as she waited for class to start. The only reason she liked science was because every once in a while they got to set things on fire.

Xavier paused, stopping his work briefly to look over at his pile of books and papers that needed done. He had come in late, but he didn't get how he had all this work to do, they never let you make up work while suspended, then his gaze landed on the gym teacher. Maybe he had set it up so that Xavier wouldn't have nothing to do.
