Jock is a state of [Or lack of] mind.
Its not just anyone who plays football.

I think lack of is more accurate, personally.
i think the jock mindset woud be sort of difficult to meld with the emo mindset.

Well, my idea of a 'jock' versus an athlete is that jocks are the ones who think they're really tough and that they're the best. Not exactly emo...

I don't know, I've seen emo's who think they are tough because they hardcore dance... then admittedly they get laid out with one punch after accidentally hitting someone... but its all about the mental state right?

When you say hardcore dancing do you mean moshing?

No hardcore dancing is like windmilling your arms, moshing is like head banging but more violent, a mosh pit is just people head banging whilst pushing people about.

What i meant was has there ever in history been an emo kid who for example an emo kid who plays football who ditches his emo friends and essentially is popular among his teammates? Also I'm NOT emo but I did win a soccer Tournemant 2 days ago 5-0 >=0 I got a yellow for elbowing a kid in his face.

Oh Rellik I've played Rugby.

i don't think just playing a sport makes you a jock.

indeed i completely agree i enjoy playing hocky...that does not make me a prep or a tomboy. its just a thing that i enjoy doing
