There are a couple of Jehovah's Witnesses who irregularly show up and talk to my mam; they leave leaflets behind. (Those "Watchtower" ones, they tend to be awfully full of doom and gloom sometimes.) It's only around morning time, though, so I usually never see them. (I'd be at school. )
If they did, and I was here myself, I'd probably say something about being a bisexual, Secular Humanist student with liberal political leanings. Honestly, I don't know what they'd say to that. Oh, and I'd have a bible on hand to rebutt them if they insisted I was a sinner and should be redeemed. Just because one should always be well informed about these things. Then I'd tell them that it's likely most people are perfectly happy with their own religion without the door-to-door intervention on behalf of Jehovah.
Alternatively, I could tell them to wait just a second, dash to the computer, to venganza.org, download a leaflet, print it off and dash back to the door with it. Then proceed to wax lyrical about the joys of Pastafarianism, and insist that if they want me to take the Watchtower, they'll have to accept mine, too. It would only be fair. I'd have to stick on a piratey hat and whatnot first, though.
