I disagree with the thought that there were "unanswered questions." I mean, seriously, the third one wrapped everything up perfectly. xD
And besides, the third movie made up for the horrible and terrible second movie. Honestly, I think that the entire introduction of squid-like Davy Jones was a bad idea. *gag* domokun

guys......their not making the 4th just so u kno cuz kiera knightly didnt want 2 do it or she was busy, & johnny depp wanted 2 do more tim burton films & the rest of the is probably tired or busy right doin other movies so......ya

I loved the PotC series, but agree that 1 was the best of the three. Personally I felt jilted about the appearance of Chung Yow Fat [I think I spelled his name right.] I wanted to see him in action with martial arts and things, but that was kind of a let down on my part. And his role wasn't very big. crying I loved him in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
But I liked the overall story. I didn't see the part about Will and Lizzy 10 years later, was it only in the special dvd set?

god, the first one was good, but then my mom watched it too much so now i don't like it any more. and the next 2, what where they thinking.it probably sounded like this...
"Hey in the next PotC film lets have FISHMEN!" "Cool what will the story be?"
"Who cares?!... FISHMEN!!!"
