Our Kingdom and Il Sato Gul G
Mm, I own the first two volumes of Our Kingdom. To be honest, I don't much care for it, which is a shame. Il Sato Gul G has gorgeous art, but I haven't been able to find it lately.

Our Kingdom is definitely underrated. It's my favourite yaoish manga. I only wish the fifth volume would be published in my country yet.

Boku no Sexual Harrasment (My sexual Harrasment) or Sensitive Pornograph aren't really well known ones. I like them both non the less though.

I think the reason why you haven't seen Il Gatto Sul G lately is because Vol 2 came out in the US last year but Vol 3 still hasn't been published in Japan as far as I know. ^^;;

All yaoi that has been published in English are not NEARLY as underrated as the ones that are scanlated T.T

I myself have read oh so many scanlated yaoi, and hardly even buy them anymore (since my freaking bookstore never gets them!)

Anybody here read scanlated yaoi??? That's what I want to know! smile

I would say that scanlated yaoi can go either way when it comes to being popular versus underrated. If it was done by an author that is well known enough, fans probably will have heard of it even if they haven't read it. If it was translated by a well known scanlation group, it's definately going to be known and read by people who read that stuff.

Kaori Yuki's boy love one shot Boys Next Door comes to mind here. It's probably known by fans, but it's not a scanlation that I would call easy to find by any means at the moment since the group that did it took their site down. (PMs asking me for it or where to download it won't be replied to.)

I was really sad to find that they took down that site. I liked Boys Next Door, and her art is fabulous! And I was so anxious to see how Count Kain continued...

I would actually buy Boys Next Door if it ever was translated properly just because I like having the actual books that I can read anywhere, especially since the 60lb tower case that is my computer isn't exactly portable.

However the story isn't your typical boy love story... it's very very dark, and I was a bit shocked by it at first even though I've read Kaori Yuki before and know how her stuff tends to get.

My favorite game could be described as "underrated shounen-ai/yaoi". Hardly anyone's ever heard of it, so I've found less than twenty fans even online. It's so obscure that even the import sites don't carry the damn artbook (even the game's publishing company doesn't).

It makes me so very, very sad.

Can I assume from your sig it's Anima Mundi? heart

I LOVE that game so hard, but I'm mad at it now, because my save files spontaneously deleted themselves. D: I'll get back eventually, but..

so it IS BL? XDD I couldn't tell whether it was, or it was just overly hinty. ..well, I guess the whole makeout/groping thing makes it BL at least, but -- can you end up with anyone?
