whats the purpose of cutting

Acording to every one at school I cut. Funny thing is I had no idea that I did! God I hate people who make stupid asumptions.

my reasons for cutting are complicated. i wrote it under life issues so i wont write it again. i still do it even though i am seeing a psychiatrist( i barely learned how to spell that word razz ) and i guess it's because it's a way for me to relinquish my emotional pain. the physical pain doesnt bother me at all. it relaxes me, kind of how like a smoker takes a puff out of a cigarette to relieve stress. same with me just in a different way. the blood flowing down my wrist is so facinating, so.... so... exhilarating. its all the atrocity in my life. and all the megalomaniacal people trying to tell me that im just a peace of trash that should be thrown away because they dont understand my pain.

and i have had many deaths in my family
i cut for more reasons
but i do it also for pain, physical is much better than emotional
my friends barely talk to me anymore
i also cut for blood
the dripping makes everything seem easier

Ahhh...the good old days of stupidity.
I used to cut when I was 11 or so.
Because I though no one understood me, my mom put to much pressure on me, the kids at school pick on me for being asian & the "little goth kid", s**t like that.
I think I was "emo" before it became "cool".
But I've grown up now & moved on.
Now I burn instead! =D
No not really....my friend just suggested to do that next time I have the urge to inflict pain on myself.

But no actually earlier this year I over dosed on sleeping pills (classic) because of reasons. (best friend died, just got out of rehab, lots of stuff)
Haha....why do the ******** up kids have all the fun?
And some how meet on the internet & talk about ******** up things.

i cut because i had so much peer pressure, i was crying every day, and i needed some escape. i found it. and started using my escape but then i realized what i was doing to myself. if you go to the life issues subforum, you will find my thread titled "i started to cut" and all i got was a bunch of people who didn't care about me and really put me down, did not help, even when i was dropping to an unliked way of getting help. posting what youve done to yourself and then hoping to get help back. well i got s**t. didn't help at all. now i have to wear a sweatband to hide my one scar that didn't heal. and i am still feeling the peer pressure now. i am only 12 and my ex just finished fighting with me. i have a low self esteem and i hope that no one here will tell me im just out here to "get attention" cause thats all i got from my forum.and yes. i do like the blood too.

why do people cut. it doesn't really make any since. if you cut the wrong mark then your dead. and wouldnt the pain be unbarable. i do some pretty stupid things from wat people tell me but i wpuldnt cut theres just to much in life i havent done yet. it does make any since.
