Lexiegirl I'm doing track and I swim alot.
Its really fun and I love the high I get from it.
YAY endorphins. I 'YAY' my endorphins all the time. I enjoy runner's high. biggrin

Yea, Goths can play sports. I've been on the vollyball team for about two years now...and I love it.

I really like sports. Mainly I do karate, yoga, track, swimming and bike-riding. But I've started playing volleyball, soccer and basketball.

I play soccer and basketball. I'm a lot better at the former though. Being goth has nothing to do with playing sports, playing sports can't make you any more or less goth, but I understand you on the whole "leftist hippie" thing you were saying.

Martial arts... 2 types (Karate and Tae Kwon Do)
Hocky, street and ice,
Basketball,
I tend to run and walk a lot but not really in a competitive way.
Erm... are we counting cyber sports in this? If so I could compete in a pentathlon. biggrin

i play pick up games of basketball, yesterday i played basketball at a rehab place (dont ask) and i was in my tripp pants, it was funny cuz my chain hit people and i won! w00t me!

DarkPhsycotic Is it unusual for a goth to want to participate in sports? The reason I'm asking is because my father convinced me to try football (american) next year in highschool. Does anyone here play sports?
It is not unusual for goths to take part in sports it is really up to the person on if they want to play a sport or not... I personally ocassionly play football for fun though not on an actual team for school though, but that is, because I already graduated...

i'm not in any sports team but I love sports mostly ball sports mostly soccer and basketball and tennis is my fav i hate swimming but i love water polo i hate cricket and a bit of baseball i love x-treme sports and i love martial arts
