Shadow Nightshade i think most people have to practice in secret, especially if your a kid...usually because some part of thier family is another religion... Yeah, I'm not allowed to practice openly. I'm not sure if I'm a Wiccan, all I know is I'm Pagan. I'm thinking of worshipping Hecate as my main goddess. I keep hearing she's a dark goddess, but I've also read that she has both a benign and a dark side, as all things do. I'm really confused as to what I should do. As for the topic, they have alot of spells online you could try out. Now, you must realize spells do not have an immediate effect. Most can take a few days or maybe even a few weeks to play out. And sometimes, if the deities do not favor your spell, they will not alow it to happen. Be patient.

The Dancing Ninja The Goth Apple The Dancing Ninja well i am in regards to spells they usually involve a pentacle with me, i cant do the altar thing because i must practice in secret mum a christian my moms not a christian,but shes against wicanism, sad

I used to be a Wiccan too, but am now into Chaos Magick. There are so many Wiccan websites and forums you can participate in and get answers to any questions you have. It's also a great way to join a likeminded community. Even if you just do a yahoo group search and type in Wicca something is bound to come up. Good luck smile

My whole family is Lutheran/ Mormon. so yeah. its all on the DL. except for my uncle who is an extremely understanding Christian and has accepted my choice.
This whole topic thing reminded me i need to write a power binding spell.
The ghost in my room is an a** and likes to play with centepedes and spiders a little too much sweatdrop

Reset-Addict I was wondering how many people are wiccans that are on gaia. I mean in real life, accual wiccans! I am a wiccan myself and I wanted to know a few things from others like myself. Dose any of you ever do spells? If so what kind? If its personal, I am really sorry... you dont have to answer I was just curious... See I want to do spells but I am stuck on prayers. I find it hard to make up anything. I cant find any spells let alone make them work. I tried doing a protection spell for my friends and family, but I dont really know how well that worked out. Yeah, so if anyone could possibly help me... That would be excelent. I am kinda hoping someone will respond to this and give me a little background on there experiance with being a wiccan and help me with being a wiccan aswell... I would also like someone to mabye help me understand the history of wiccans and the present of wiccans. Mabye also help me in understanding how to put together spells and prayers of my own... Again I thank you for taking your time to read this and I hope you can give me advice! Thanks! i'm a practicing Witch/Wiccan. The little kids make fun of me by asking why i havent turned them into frogs yet. so then i get out some stuff like herbs and they run thinking i'm gonna put a spell on them. then i make some rose and lavender potpourri. xd lol its funny as for spells, i'm good at healing and i'm sort of a kitchen Witch. nothin fancy.

I am Wiccan. I used to practice often but now, due to other obligations, it has since had to take a back seat in my life. Ive been practicing for the better part of five years. mrgreen

Lillitt Ive always had to hide my ways. Being both Bisexual and Pagan was a double whammy for me, lol, same here. Well, really I'm not a Wiccan or Pagan, but I look into those type of things, which my mom hates. I don't know wtf I am. blaugh

i'm most certainly not a wiccan. in fact i rather dislike wicca and consider it a perversion of ancient religions that should be well respected.
my own spiritual beliefs are kind of a mix of celtic and norse, but primarily celtic. i treat the gods as friends, and consider myself an equal with them, in fact i have a god indebted to me(CuChulainn) for saving his life during my first human life.
however, my mother is indeed a christian. she has learned by now that she can't convince me of her religion, and in fact i have disproved some of it, though she still latches onto blind faith anyways and gives me the occasional brief preachy lecture. i practise magick, energy work, and a few other oddities(currently working on creating mind-fire, and i've come close a few times), and i keep a book of shadows, which only has about 4 pages of text in it, one page of which is just my doodles...swords, runes, and random things, including a self styled ankh i've been working on based on the concept of balance. mom doesnt know about the book of shadows, though she does know about my using her old tarot deck from her teenage days(it was printed in 1970)

i guess im lucky. my dad and grandparents dont approve (not like my mommom and poppop know yet lol) but they dont live with me so i dont care!
actually my mom is sorta into it. she's even trying to learn about herbs. my bf wants to go to this incense-making workshop at the pagan store lol.
i say maybe. yeesh, im the pagan and i dont really care as much as they are enthused. wow. and i love my religion. they're scary.
