Well, I'm occasionally hit with a severe case of paranoia, usually during the night after I've seen a scary movie. O_o But I'm also scared of a lot of other things, like being alone (as in NOBODY LOVES ME OR GIVES A s**t kind of alone, not living alone kind of alone.). rejection from people I happen to want to be friends with or something, creepy crawly s**t, and mirrors. stare I hate the damn things.
But you know, I've noticed a weird thing about ALL my korean friends. Btw, I have nothing against koreans, in fact, I think a lot of the guys are IMPOSSIBLY hot and/or cute, and I'm very close with a couple of my korean friends. You DID not read the bit about korean guys being hot, however, it IS true. Anyway. All my korean friends have the same morbid fear of lightning and thunder. Yes, lightning and thunder. They're not only afraid of being struck by it, but they're afraid of it PERIOD.
I remember at school, we had just seen a video on what to do in certain natural disaster situations, including thunderstorms, and the day after, there was a thunderstorm. We (me and my korean friends) were walking back to homeroom (which involves us going outside, walking down the hill and across the sports oval. stare ) and then we heard thunder. One of my friends began screaming, putting her hands over her head, then she ran to homeroom at full speed, screaming all the way. My other friend was slightly calmer, until we were halfway across the oval, then the thunder got REALLY loud, then she began to sream and panic, then all of a sudden, she squatted in the middle of the oval, and I remembered in the video it told us that if we were in a wide open space, you didn't want to be the tallest figure. SO you had to squat down and make sure you were really low, which is exactly what she did. After I managed to drag her back to homeroom and we were on our way to the computer room, we passed one of the really tall girls, who also happens to be korean. Then we told her she was going to get struck coz she was the tallest out of all of us, then she screamed and ran to the computer room.
Is that weird or what?
