Fallentowards GutzGuitar Fallentowards How come?, any specific reason or just a blunt distaste? She just has like this whole lack of a message thing, shes using random same old same old messages that just are tiring and shes got a tonne of albums out which now just proves shes decided its for the money.... But yes I generally dislike her and her music, its far too much the same thing over and over.... Nightwish is good though! ok everyone is entitled to their opinion and i honor yours but i must say 3 things, 1. evanescence is a band, amy isn't the whole thing behind it 2. regarding the songs, each song has a separate meaning behind it, and some songs can be seen in different lights and you have to look deeper into the lyrics, it's like deconstructing a poem, but you don't like the music to begin with so why bother, i'm just saying, it might sound like the same damn thing but it's really not. and finally just because evanescence have a couple albums out doesn't mean they are out for money. Well I'm all for the meanings behind lyrics... like I listen to Dir En Grey and all that just to decipher all the lyrics is just a hobby of mine! But Amy Lee just is not my cup of tea at all....

No offence but Evanescence sucks arse. Sadly she's all about the money now, not about the music which she was before! Amy Lee was awesome in my eyes until i learned she does it for the money now and not for her fans like she said she was! Nightwish however is awesome, granted i doubt they are even together anymore, if they are than yay.

Let's see... Evanescence is good. In fact, I have their first album. However, I find that I lean more towards Nightwish. "Nemo" is an awesome song. "Phantom of the Opera" could be awesome if a different guy sung the Phantom's part.
