Most violent anime's

Nah, how about Akira, and Ninja Scroll. Or even Tekken. I know all of those show a great amount of blood and gore.

I have to say Ninja Scroll has a lot of blood and crazy a** killing scenes...I love when the big guy rips off the guys arm and drinks his blood with the blood running all over his face and body...man...that was cool... xd

Gantz! By far the most gruesome thing I've ever seen! They couln't show it uncut anywhere, even Japan! The only way to see it uncut was to buy it on DVD, which is the only way to get it at all in the U.S.

Hrm....I think Elfen Lied is pretty gory, but since that has already been said I will go with the first one to cross my mind which would be, Utawarerumono, cause well, it is an anime with a lot of wars in it. xd

i gotta agree with Utawarerumono. The third OVA has touka attempting to kill oboro with her fists! rofl there was blood o the floors on her fist..everywhere! biggrin and i love the fight scenes in it.

pretty weird but the most violent one i saw was actually key the metal idol.. which is not that violent...

do u think such violent anime isn't ruining the reputation of anime as it is?

Probably Berserk. It's an awesome series though, in my top 5. The manga carries on past the anime though...the anime just kind of...ends.

Almost every anime is violent Some of my favorites Naruto, Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon Ball but some of the most violent are Blood and Elfen Lied, to much blood in both.

Just look at this scene of Elfen Lied. I put it small because is very bloody.
