Simmi-chan Hiro_wolf wow.. i dont wait in lines to get in.. ^^; i get there like ten min. before the show and get to the front. But be sure to remember, if you are going to wait in a line you should bring water and somthing to do! Also rember you will have to stand through the concert as well. Woah, do you have a lot of friends in high places or something? I'd get decked if I tried thatLets just say Its good to have tough friends, especially the ones who show up in a black lether jacket with bleached hair, tight black pants and biker boots. That gets you through a crowed quikly. But I lost him half way into the preformance..but people let me through anyways.

Shura-Pendragon So...let's say I had the ipod and maybe a book and my coat (which would wrapped around the ipod for protection) in my messenger bag and keep the bag on me...will that work out any? Or do I have to stick it in the closet room? I'd say cloakroom on the pure basis that when I brought a messenger bag with me, it kept getting stuck between people when we were jumping, but the strap was very long, so if you shorten it so that it stays tighter to you, it shouldn't be too much of a big deal. I'd reccomend a backpack though as I've seen loads of people with backpacks at shows and they were fine, but I've even seen people with handbags and such, so I think that it depends on how confident you are to be in the crowd with your bag.Shura-Pendragon I think if I'm at the front there won't be enough room to really jump ( crying but it's so much fun, I did it at Reel Big Fish). I sat next to a French Guy on a nine hour plane rie to Paris...and he kept looking at a dirty magazine and getting up to use the restroom, so I can fully imagine how awkward it would be for you with that guy...I wouldn't like that happening to me at all either xp .. Hmm, I've never been right at the front, so I couldn't say, but I've been 2nd and 3rd row and moving was pretty alright. Except at one show where the first 10 rows was like a pack of sardines.
oh, and ew@the French manShura-Pendragon I just have school(grrr), I might take the day off...I can't imagine really being alove that day after or not. After the RBF concert I had to work the following day for about 4 hours...not fun. But going to a college class after all that? Kuddos to you my friend! Pft, it wasn't that bad for me, I had an afternoon class. We went to two shows that weekend though, my poor friend had work the day after the first one and then morning classes after the other one.Shura-Pendragon Every concert's different, I've only been to one thus the need for your wonderful advice sweatdrop . So they give you water up there? I thought they only throw some on the pit when they thought it got too hot. That's great to know! Well, I've only been to two shows that I remember where water wasn't given and those had easily accesible bars, but at some they only do it when things get too hot. What they tend to do is they aim a sports bottle at anyone who needs the water and attempt to spray it at their mouths. I've been to a couple where they give cups to people at the front also.Shura-Pendragon Putting what kind of things together? But that does sound like a lot of fun (and a way to make the time pass by)! I'll definitely try it! Since I'm going in a group I hope that'll save my spot in line. Well at th eMCR show I've been to, there was a girl and a couple of her friends putting a book together full of notes to the band from fans, which I thought was really cool. I didn't see her after that so I hope she got it to them.Shura-Pendragon Great things to know! So...energy bars would work to right? What kind of enegery drink would be best? Thanks! Umm, for me, it's Red Bull that does it, although not much works on me because I'm crap, but I think it is very dependant on the person. I know Red Bull doesn't work for some people, a friend of mine prefers Lucozade. So that one's down to you.

Good point, I'll see how short the strap will go...or I'll just con one of my friends into putting it in the clockroom for me wink . Simmi-chan Hmm, I've never been right at the front, so I couldn't say, but I've been 2nd and 3rd row and moving was pretty alright. We went to two shows that weekend though, my poor friend had work the day after the first one and then morning classes after the other one. That would suck..the only big thing is musical practice for five hours after school...but I'm in pit so I guess I can nap. Simmi-chan Well, I've only been to two shows that I remember where water wasn't given and those had easily accesible bars, but at some they only do it when things get too hot. Shura-Pendragon Ouch...which show was that? We Are Scientists. That show made me realise that I have a lot of pride. Also, despite the suffocation of the 2 and a half hours to start with, it was pretty awesome, they're so adorable. It's funny, I'm sure they don't even see the crowd or how manic it is up front. There were torrrents of girls having to find their way out because thsy couldn't take it.Shura-Pendragon Well...I hope it's a show where they give out cups then. Which shows have you been too besides MCR? Wuh-oh, here's where my lack of experience comes in.
The ones I'm not so proud of. I've been to a few Juniour Jams, which are events for under 18's run by a "hip hop" (it's not real hip hop, don't be fooled) station here. From those, I've been to 3. Mario, Ciara and *cough* Bow Wow (who's a midget, by the way). The former was at Citizen Wandsworth (which is now Wandsworth Palais, I believe), the latter two were at Hammersmith Palais (for free, go me.). I'm sure I saw someone else there, but I can't remember who, I just remember Kano as an opener.
Ummm, I've also seen: Fort Minor at Mean Fiddler (opened by Sway, awesome rapper) Panic! At the Disco at Brixton Acadmey (opened by Driveby Argument-awesome band) We Are Scientists at Brixton Academy (opened by these two lovely bands who's name I forgot) MCR at Brixton Academy Driveby Argument at Camden Barfly (tiny venue, 500 people max. The main event was an awesome band called Kubicheck, but I went for Driveby. The other openers were cool too.) I've seen my friend's Dad perform at Hammersmith Palais (there was almost no people there, as an amateur photographer, that was awesome) and at this Jazz bar called the 606 (that was impossible to take pictures of)
Next Thursday, I'm seeing 30 Seconds to Mars at The Electric Ballroom-Camden. I'm also hoping to go to at least one show between then and MCR, but I haven't seen anything come up that I can afford.
Shura-Pendragon That sounds like a ton of fun..I might try that! If it'll give me a shot to meet them, that would just make everything better. Don't get your hopes too high up though, at the Brixton show, Frank came out briefly beforehand and he was the only one who signed autographs afterwards. I'm absolutely convinced they used him as cannonfodder while the others escaped to the bus.
Bob looked at us out of a window a few times though, he threw this crazy, (though she was mad fun) girl a breakfast bar. I assume for her rendition of 'Bob the Drummer' to the tune of Bob the Builder. He looked slightly depressed/displeased though.Shura-Pendragon xx_deadlover Shura-Pendragon xx_deadlover Hey, i'm going to the one in march too. My first concert ^_^ I'm wondering the same thing. zomg! You've been to a lot of shows. I'm very envious of you seeing Panic! At the Disco and MCR...and you're seeing 30 Seconds To Mars! You're so lucky! Tell me how 30 Seconds to Mars is! At least tell me.....did you like the BowWow concert? (It's okay...I have a sercret liking for Boy Bands...) Simmi-chan Don't get your hopes too high up though, at the Brixton show, Frank came out briefly beforehand and he was the only one who signed autographs afterwards. I'm absolutely convinced they used him as cannonfodder while the others escaped to the bus. I won't...it'll be enough just seeing them live I guess. But talking to them would just make my life complete you know whee , but I still have many years left in my life...so I'll hopefully get there eventually. Simmi-chan Bob looked at us out of a window a few times though, he threw this crazy, (though she was mad fun) girl a breakfast bar. I assume for her rendition of 'Bob the Drummer' to the tune of Bob the Builder. He looked slightly depressed/displeased though. That sounds really funny...but poor Bob. I love Bob, he's amazing. I would be scared of crazy fan girls too if I were them.... do you think she's treasuring that bar? Simmi-chan Haha, you can tell her all about how my advice sucks and never listen to me again. Your advice doesn't suck at all! I bet you it's going to help me a TON when I go. Take more credit, you're smart whee

Money wise you should bring enough to buy somthing, enough in case of emergency and even more than that is good to have incase some gets lost. I would say about 40-50 USD
