Its never good to lie about things like that. Always tell your parrents to gain their trust. Having someones trust i the most important thing. When you loose that, its hard to ever get that back. Haveing your parrents trust will help you as you get older and give you more freedoms. Do the right things first and show them your grades. (if they are of corse reasonable human beings) It may sting now but doing the right thing helps you in the long run.

well, in this case, all you can do is apologise to them, (your parent and teacher). yes, you may be scolded and be grounded but, the punishment is not as severe as they knew it by themself.

first you and your parents might get drag to the principal room, and they got scolded by the principal, then when they drive you home you'll be scolded by them, and then you get to your house, the lecturing will continue on and the end of the lecturing is "now get to your room and you're grounded!". eek

(the situation stated above is just a fiction and dont have any relation with the real life. if there is so, then its actually an accidental)

dont mean to scare you of, but IMO you should tell them now. yes, now xd

If anyone asks, just say you lost the first one.

There's not really a way out of it, your parents will find out your grade despit what you try to do. ♥

telling the truth is a good option..
tell them you freaked which you did and tell them you were/are scared
mostlikly truth, and for the future. Lying gets you places yes but your usally lonly tell the truth and maybe good things will happen try not lying about anything for a year

Definatly tell the truth. Losing your parents trust sucks... they don't let you do anything. Believe me, it's happened to me on a regular schedule. gonk
