I'm such a hopless romantic. This one sucks alot though. I knowafter I tried to show it too my friends have fun

A Summer Memory:

The lonliness
It slowly consumed me
And then you came
So suddenly you knew me
I'm not sure what I'd be
Had you not gave your love to me
And I'll remember
This Summer Memory

A happyness
It just grows so freely
A seed you made
And planted deep within me
And as a flower blooms
So shall my love do same for you
Yes I'll remember
This Summer Memory

Yes I remeber
Of back when you saved me
Like all I've known though
You broke and you betrayed me
And now my soul is
So fully dead I can't feel
Yet I'll remember
Our Summer Memory

It's not that bad, you just need to tweek it a little. For example, instead of A seed you made and planted deep with in me. How about something like, This seed within me you planted deeply.? whee

Like I said it don't suck, you just need sometime with it. 3nodding

I wouldn't really call this a poem. You can if you want. I see it more as a babble or ramble. Oh, gaia messed up my quotations, so don't quote this or it will look like crap.

Accept What's Natural
By: Christian (Me)

What makes it so easy for humans to pity?

Some say, "That person has a good heart."
Some say, "That person is just innocent."
Some say, "That person is a little naive."
Hardly any say, "That person is just having a human's natural feeling."

"Natural? Feeling?"
How's that possible?"

So you respond.
"Are you sure they have a good heart, innocent, and naive
Just because they can pity?"

Everyone pities.

People with hearts that only contain cruelty and pain
Can pity
People without a droplet of innocence
Can pity
People who can't understand the naive
Can pity

If a child falls and spills their ice cream on the pavement
You pity.
You may laugh, you may cry for them, you may be angry,
But you pity.
A homeless person begs and begs for your help and prayers
You pity.
You may pray, you may help, you may leave them in their sorrow
But you pity.

You know that cliche saying "Love's out there,
You just need to find it?"
Well the same goes for pity.
Except we don't need to find it.

Just accept it.

I tried. I'm not really good with poems of the sort. xP

You remind me of Emily Dickinson. Alot of her poems have an off beat style the some people would consider random babbling. But in fact she was a pretty skilled poet. 3nodding

Violet: Thanks a lot! I wouldn't say my poem had indepthness beyond words to it. xD

Dr. Faust: Emily Dickinson? I look up some of her poems. Thank you very much.

Yoshaki: Thank you, but I didn't kick you a**. xD I don't really like poems that much, but I thought I'd give it a try in your thread. I think I'll stick with stories.

I just realizied I typed "go heart." It's suppose to be "good." I feel like an idiot right now.

It isn't realy a poem, but what the heck.
BEWARE OF CRAPYNESS

I'm lost in the dark cant find my own way. Searching for a way out, but im traped, traped in the drakness. Waiting, hopeing, wishing for some one to come set me free.

When that time comes, when i am set free. Feeling the subshine, warm up my fresh. Then i will know that i can be freed. But that time will probably never come.

I'm binded by fire and traped here be darkness. I'm stuck here, waiting, hopeing, dreaming of being free, free from this place.

If only it could happen, if only someone could come rescue me. Then I'd be happy away from this place, but im traped, traped in the darkness.

Note this isn't a poem. It's a story. It's told in a story by the fire kind of storytelling. It takes place in Bremerton, WA. Hope you like it.

Another untitled thing:

He was a simple boy. He wasn't all that important. And he didn't have any real friends. Though that may be because he didn't talk much. So little that he had convinced some of his classmates he was mute. It was that girl that got him to talk. She had exchanged in from Japan smart and cute. She was shy too almost as much as him. She intreaged him. For the first time in forever he started to talk. And that was how it started.

Seeing as both weren't too forward it took a bit for him to give hints he had feelings for her and even longer for her to understand his hints. In the end he just came out and said it. What suprised him was she returned. He had always seen himself as nothing. She gave him a feeling of purpose for the first time in his life.

And with that they began a relationship. After bieng depressed and quiet for so long bieng happy and well not really loud just less quiet with her was liberating. He felt so free. So did she she returned with just as much strength and would do anything to stay with him. Though her parents didn't quite feel the same. You see he was quite poor. He had trouble in school. His future didn't look bright to them. To them he was going to fail in life and drag thier daughter with him. So they tried to stop it.

Thier daughter continually rejected thier offers of others. Saying her love for him couldn't be so easily broken. They started to restrict her speaking to him on the phone, and when she just started going out more they forced her to stay home. Yet she still escaped. She still found her way to him. Thats when her parents became desperate.

They began to threaten to move away back to Japan. This shocked her, but she still disobeyed she wouldn't let them just break them apart and they wouldn't really move back would they? That would cost way too much. Her parents then moved the action and began to pack. They had bought tickets to leave. They were quite serious. So she ran away.

He hadn't lived with either of his parents. Had her parents known he spent his time in an unfurnished shack with barely any essentials they may have gone bezerk far earlier. She now stayed with him and helped him getting a job as he began to work harder. But they couldn't stay there. They would find them there. So they went on the move.

They moved off from that little place and began to stay in motels as they made thier way North. They thought they could be safe in Canada. But they never made it. Her parents had contacted the authorities before they had left the city. And they were found in one of those motels in Bellingham. A city not much further than 30 km from Canada. He was locked up temporarily and she wwas sent back to her parents. He was still in jail as she took off crying into the air.

He returned home and began to go into a major depression. There was no way she would be coming back now...she was gone forever. The rain was pouring down that night. He began to walk outside. He went along a path he had taken her to a tree that had been cut but had had enough branches left to live on. One that usually inspired him to live on. It wasn't enough today. He began to climb up the tree up to its point of injury when it was almost dead before. HE stood up mildly off balance. And felt the rain falling down on his face. He began to scream at god. He started screaming at the world. He stood up high as he could with his hand up and told god to lay his hand down upon him. A flash of light followed by booming. No more screams. Only the falling of rain.

I can still feel the warmth of your smile.
Still long for your gentle touch.
Couldn't you stay for a while?
Baby I miss you so much.

I can still hear your laugh as I lay in bed.
I still feel your hands holding mine.
I can't get you out of my head.
Memories won't fade with time.

I still don't understand.
Why did you leave me?
You were my man.
But you decieved me.

I wanted to be together always.
Nothing could change my heart.
As I walk these lonely hallways,
I slowly fall apart.

I wanted you by my side.
Sitting in the living room.
To no one can I confide.
There's a sense of impending doom.

I will love you until the day I die.
I know my love is pure and true.
My reason to smile, my reason to cry.
All I that I need is you.

Just wrote that. whee I have more in my journal. Just go back a few pages. XD

I just got done reading it... I like it it's quite a sad story. Actually, a few years back. I was dating a girl and she ran away from home. At the time I was still staying with my mother. I had a job, paid half the rent, but she wouldn't let her stay. Her parent weren't too fond of me either, so I took off with her. We spent days hopping from hotle to hotel on a checkbook that I had just closed the account on, I bounced about 1500 dollars in bad checks on a non- exsistant account. Eventually the cops came and took us both to jail. They called her parents, then took me home. Her parents still didn't like me, but they were glad I didn't have her living on the streets. We continued to see each other for awhile then things started to slowly fall apart. It was devastating to me at first, but eventually I moved on. Your story reminds me of that incident that happened so long ago. 3nodding
