"Remember your a Womble"
Are you talking about looking like one of the Wombles or are you talking about someone I havent heard of?

I get...*twitches*...very irritable when that's brought up...the wombles, that is... REMEMBER, OWEN!?!? scream

They mock my liking Idlewild. To such a great extent. *sniffs*
crying

Oh ok. Sorry. Its probably a good thing then.

Blame the parents, it was their idea to call the kid Bloody Womble

One of my favourite bands at the moment is Do Me Bad Things. They're amazing. They're quite hard to describe... I'll copy and paste from their website:
"Sometimes, very good things happen by accident. Do Me Bad Things, the astonishing blues/rock/soul/metal/everything/anything nine-piece from Croydon who have slapped countless unsuspecting, jaded audiences out of their torpor over the last twelve months, and left jaws hitting the floor everywhere they go, freely admit to having no ambition whatsoever."

You can listen to clips from their fantastic album 'Yes' (and watch a few full-leangth videos) here: http://domewebthings.com/audiovid.php

I recommend 'Time For Deliverance', 'What's Hideous', 'Spezzatura', 'The Song Rides', 'Off The Hook', 'Liv Ullman On Drums (Move In Stereo)', 'Molly's Wood', 'Suberban Flame', 'The Daily Grind' and 'Hold On'. And that's the whole album, minus the bonus tracks, and they're good too. xd

They look like this:

And if you think they're overdoing it with the makeup there, you should see the 'What's Hideous' video. 3nodding

I heart them. Time for deliverance made me feel all tingly.

I know exactly what you mean. The opening bars... the sparkly guitars... and then the vocals set in and it all builds up to the chorus and it just makes you feel great.
That song healed me, you know, when I was feeling sick 2/3 way round a sponsored 6-mile walk. DMBT gave me the will to carry on. As soon as it started playing, the wish to collapse in a corner and die was replaced with an erge to run the last two miles.

Don't letthem mocking your like Idlewild move you to mock the Wombles. They made some pretty good music, considering they're fictional characters. I think my mum has an old wombles record somewhere.

I think he comes from the Hebridies, so yes, it is.
Oh, I cannot wait to get back to Scotland. That forest in El Capitan was a little like the place we stayed at last year in the Highlands. Not so much like that around Edinburgh, is it? That's where I'm off to this year.

I live quite near Edinburgh. Near as the crow flies anyway. The bridge is a bloody nightmare. Its flatter and more crowded in Edinburgh. Even when there arent any world summits most of the streets were designed before there were cars. And the lack of carparks. Its nice there though.

I rather hope that I don't get caught up in all of that summit protest business... sweatdrop

You should do. There could be heavy traffic the other way. Im guessing it might start around the 2nd/3rd, after the concerts everywhere else.

*Prays* I hope it isn't TOO crowded...
Still, I can do my bit of protesting before everyone gets there.

Its always quite crowded in tourist season. I generally avoid Edinburgh in summer but if you walk/get public transport you will be fine. I expect the taxi drivers probably know the way around too. And they dont have to park. Buses get their own lane and there arent too many neds in Edinburgh so they are ok.

THE DARKNESS!!!!If they do not release a new album within the next 3 weeks, please ignore that statement

The Darkness covered Street Spirit. Therefore, Justin Hawkins must hang.

And possibly be drawn and quartered too.

Great (or at least should be great) British bands- Once Over heart They describe themselves as 100mph skacore, and thats just about right, they come from Worthing, near Brighton, and have finally gotr a record deal and their album comes out in July, go here: Once Over MySpace to listen to them in all their glory, just as i shall be tonight- hurrah for bands pulling out!
Wow, I rambled a bit, sorry, but I really love Once Over, the world needs more ska!
