Yami and Bakura from YGO. I found this really funny yet somewhat hot fic on fanfiction net and *POOF* Instant love just add yaoi.
The two got stuck in an elevator and Bakura decides to mess with Yami's head and...Yeah. 3nodding
There are probably others but for the life of me I can't remember any...
Oh, wait...
RoyxEnvy from FMA. I can't remember the name, but still. I think I have it around here somewhere...

Right now I'm a strong believer that if you get a good writer, any pairing can be made plausible.

I tend to just avoid pairings I dislike, unless I already know about the author fairly well. In DBZ, I never liked Piccolo in yaoi, until I picked up a recent (and in progress now) fanfic pairing RadditzxPiccolo. Not one I'd ever think of, but it was pulled off very well. (I think a big reason for this is that neither is out of character- and therefore it isn't the fluffiest relationship going. twisted )

Yeah, that happens to me once in a while. I read the summary, get intrigued, start reading, and then I'm stuck. I love when that happens. heart

Nope, I'm more of a person who decides who they like together then ends up not being about to read anything else without getting bored... Dunno why but... I'm very opinionated.

Yes. Usually, any pairing based within Jhonen Vasquez's works, I tend to dislike. Straight, Yaoi, Yuri.. Anything basically. (Especially OCs.)
However, I do have an exception to this rule due to a fanfiction called 'Vargas'. The fanfiction itself is outstanding, and the characters are still quite in-character themselves. Just as well, her OC, Scriabin, is brilliantly crafted. In truth, I ended up falling in love with two pairings instead of just one. As well as Scriabin/Edgar, I also fell hard for the pairing Nny/Edgar.
Nny is a touchy subject for me, since when I RP him, I try and keep him within the boundaries of the actual plotline. Thus, I tend to make him like Devi, if anyone at all.
However, this fanfiction - through AU, brought another pairing that I do like. Although it is dysfunctional as hell and probably wouldn't work without one of them dying. 'Vargas' hints at the coupling rather well while still making both Nny and Edgar quite in character. It's just brilliant. n.n

I'm very oppinionated when it comes to yaoi-pairings, but since I read more than what's good for me, I tend to find new pairings, that end up as favorites... Even if I hate one of the characters with every bone in my body... sweatdrop
Take for instance Kisame X Itachi & Gaara X Lee.
I've always hated Gaara & Itachi for some reason, I don't why really, but when they're paired up with Lee & Kisame, I allways tend to go fangirlish on them. Especially if I see them as fanart... sweatdrop

Oh yes...
At first, I couldn't allow the fact that someone kept Iruka from Naruto as a gay... I just couldn't bear it! I thought he was so straight and innocent, when my friend said she likes KakaxIruka... O_O''' PANIC! Then... She forced me to read one and we all know what happened next... Now I'm a BIG fan of KakaxIruka, and I almost drown my friend to my speech of them... I druel for the fanarts and fics, write and draw them my self...
But Kakashi is Iruka's bad boy... <3

I honestly can't find myself looking for any kind of fanfiction with Jhonen Vasquez's work, (Never thought of it till now, really) and it just seems like one of those things that wouldn't make a good fic. But if it's that good, then that person must be very talented.

Ehh... *thinks about it* For Hikaru no Go, I never liked HikaruxAkira (or the other way). I read a fic a bit ago, and though I still don't like it as much as other pairings, I can actually read it now, so yay! :3

But if it's that good, then that person must be very talented. Yea. Usually I dislike Jhonen's work being put into anything such as yaoi (ZADR makes me cry on the inside), although this may more or less be an exception. It's not really sex or anything that is keeping me attached to that fanfiction, because frankly, there is none. It is more or less how the characters are portrayed that interests me the most. I like her perspective on them as well as some of the writing itself.
That and fanfiction writers tend to make Nny rather out of character. While the writer does have some times where it is a bit awkward, in general, she does a better job than most with keeping him in character. Just as well, Edgar is written for nicely, considering how much lack of him there is (Since he was only in 'Goblins'). It's not exactly the best fanfiction ever created but it certainly is on my recommendations and favorites.

KyoxYuki from Fruits Basket. I've only been a yaoi fan for a year and I'm still discovering pairings that I thought were inpossible before and all-too-probable now. Like this one for instance. I love Semislashable on Fanfiction.net. He is my fanfiction hero. So when I saw he had a story up for Fruits Basket I sucked it up and gave it a shot and fell in love with it. The fanfiction is called 'Be My Angel' by Semislashable on Fanfiction.net. All those involved are in character and Tohru is still beloved by all (story characters and fanfic readers alike) and the plot is SO funny and I am so excited for the next chapter but it hasn't been updated in a while. =( What sold me was how Tohru was still important and not bashed into the floor like she is in a lot of other fanfiction for this pairing. And Yuki isn't pathetic. That too.
Another pairing I tried to avoid like the plague was Elricest. I had come to terms with liking BL but this was a different beast altogether. But then my friend brought over the entire series on DVD and we sat and watched it for an entire weekend. And I was sold. Agh. I was dragged kicking and screaming into that ship but it's my favorite now. Irony. =/
