My comfort with death plays a large part in why I am striving to be a mortician.

I handle death very well. I have my crying time, but I accept what's occurred.

The closest person to me who's died was my father's mother. I can't say how I'll react when someone from my immediate family dies, but I'm sure it'll just result in more crying than when my grandmother died.

I actually am usually numb to death. Every funeral I've ever been to I was never able to cry. Even the people I was closer with I've never been able to cry about it.
Meh, that's probably not a good thing. But whatever..

i have not yet lost someone really close to me yet...but i usually only mourn for those in pain or about to die...and not the ones relived of the pain already and out of this horrible world

i've been to way too many funerals for myself and during my lifetime.

my first one was at age 11 when my godfather passed away, then a couple of others who were people at church who i knew quite well.

then another was my godmother's mother, who passed away unexpectedly, and then this past april my grandpa passed away.

it just really sucks sometimes.
