Howls Moving Castle is one of Miyazaki's more dramatic films on war. I hate Disney for turning it into a comedy.

Laputa and Naussica are my favorites I even have the Naussica manga series.

Yep. They made it FUNNY. It's not supposed to BE funny.

As for me, I have a particular closeness with Tonari no Totoro. It was one of my first anime movies.

As for OLDSCHOOL Miyazaki... Animal Treasure Island, or Castle of Cagliostro...maybe?
