although i havent heard too many songs by afi or him, the ones i have heard are great and i think their great bands but i really love mcr.

I love all three, regardless of the fact that they probably are only in it for the money.
My favorite song from HIM would have to be Killing Loneliness. It gives me happy chills.
I love Cemetery Drive, so that'd be my favorite from MCR. Has alot of meaning for me.
I've been a fan of AFI for several years now, so its impossible for mt to choose just ONE song...All their songs are awesome.

My favs are HIM and AFI, sry haven't heard n e thing from MCR yet..... But I can tell that they must be good, right? N e ways, on HIM's Darklight album my fav songs are "Vampire Heart" & "Wings of a Butterfly" definately vampire goth rock for me, and on the news AFI album I like the opening track [can't remmeber wha name] and "Miss Murder" the most........ twisted [ heart ]

Roaming_D I think all 3 of the bands are good bands. They all have catchy songs, and have managed to sell the punk and goth style of music to the public, but I think they get too much credit, and there is alot better out there. who sold Punk. ******** that s**t. Punk is Anti-mainstream and Anti-media. Afi sold the ******** out. They're new sttuff is okay. but definatly not punk. MCR claims to be horror punk, no, they're scene.Horror Punk is about ZOMBIES,SKELTONS, AND MONSTERS not boo hoo your gone, dead, leaving. and Him eh i could care less. oh and btw, i can post wherever the ******** i want. You can't Sell Punk. [edit] i didn't red your whole post....there are better mainstream bands...

Goth-rock has very specific genre boundaries, and none of the bands listed fall within those boundaries.
