[Discussion] why do people think that???

Ugh. This happened with my mother. She constantly calls me a lesbian (whether joking or not) because I like gay men...which I'll never understand xD;;

And actually...I know quite a few lesbians who like Yaoi o.o;; And yet, i know no gay men who like Yuri...the many mysteries of life x___X;;

I usually try to keep the fact that I like yaoi to myself because I'm afraid of people assuming. Especially since I know a lot of people who probably would understand or make quick judgements. Its really annoying sometimes though when my mom would ask me if I was gay just because I took an interest in homosexual rights and social issues. And because she watched Gravitaion with me =_=; (she made me btw.)
