my mom basically stays away from my comics and she's really unnoticing of it. once she BOUGHT me a yaoi comic without knowing it XD needless to say i didn't tell her but it goes to show i don't think she'd ever really 'catch' me.

Lucky..... How do you get around those things, if the cover looks 'suggestive' then she has to flip through it. D:

they wrap everything (manga) in that shrink wrap stuff really tight over there. it tookme a crapload of time to get the stuff she bought me open XD

No. I buy yaoi in front of my parents all the time, too. I really just think that they don't care... or they think I'm at the age to read what I want... or just don't think comics are that dirty...

Though, my dad went to Tokyo once (lucky duck ><) and he flipped through a hentai while looking for manga to get me. Yeah... I dunno, I really think they just don't care because it's not real porno.

My mom actually caught me writing a hot Yaoi scene online and she was like "Jade...what are you doing?"

Me: *Jumps in surprise becuase she didnt hear her coming in her room* Uh...Im writing? *Bits lip*

Mom: *Sneakily reads what I'm writing and her eyes widen in shock* W-What is that? *Points to that hot Yaoi scene on the computer screen*

Me: Um...It's called Yaoi mom...*Blushes*

Mom: What does that mean? *Raises eyebrow*

Me: Well...It means Male /ale sexual relashionships or it can mean 'No point, no climax, no meaning' *Says it with pride*

Mom: *Thinks for a moment* Okay...so why do you like this Yaoi so much?

Me: *Shrugs and continutes typing out hot lemon scene* I just think its hot *Blushes even more*

Mom: *Smiles* Okay... and how long have you been writing this...stuff?

Me: *Blushes and says in a small voice* Since I was 12? (Bear in mind I was 17 by this point so I had been writing Yaoi for 5 years without her knowing)

Mom: *Jaw drops* Oh...Well I'd rather you write that stuff than going out and doing drugs.

Me: *Laughs* Fair enough!

Mom: Just promise me that you won't show any of your half sisters that stuff...

Me: *Has fingers crossed behind her back* Pormise! *Mom leaves and I snicker evilly* Not...

True story! My mom knows and doesn't care really she lets me read/write what i like which is nice of her, though from reading A 18+Yaoi book a friend from the USA sent me, she now belives all Japanese manga and anime is Yaoi, I had to make her watch ghost in the shell to make her believe quite a lot of Anime was (Unfortunatly) Either slightly hentai or had no romantic pairings in it at all ^_^

They never get on the computer anyway...And they dont sell yaoi at teh book store in town. When we go to the city right next to us they do but I cant go in to that book store untill I'm 18 so xD

They jsut started getting Manga in the libaray and they had Gravitiation and Demon diray which both are shounen Ai (With Demon diary is onthe borderline anyway ^_^) I squealed and rented out all the gravitaion mangas and red them all! Other than that i just watch Yaopi anime on YouTube ^_^

Ha ha! Well Gravitation and Demon dairy are like PG13 rated anyway, so it is possible to be able to get them and yes all hail You tube! I would have never been able to watch Naruto, FMA or bleach without it ^_^ I've also watched the following shounen ai; Loveless, Yami no matsuei, Papa to kiss in the dark and Sukisyo on youtube

well...my mom caught me reading fan fition before and I was all freaking out. She even caught me reading a very mature fanfict. I was like 12 or 13. I was trying ot get to the end but in my way were many words so my mom was like "what are you reading" and she made me let her see it.I told her I only wanted to see what the end was. I was lucky to not have been grounded. Oddly enough it was a AU Gundam Wing, a Duo and Heero paring. And a few days later she was searching over the internet exlporer history and called me in the living room. She said," I found something else with this Duo and Heero person!" <-sounding angry. I told her it was a pop up or something and walked away. So this experience has told me to delet the history and to never tell her that I like yaoi unitl I"m 18 or older. And forget my dad. He hates the idea of two guys together so yea. crying I"m doomed for another 3 years until I"m legaly an adult.

Yes, indeed. The olny two good place's I know for anime is YouTudes and (the sexy) Keiichi Anime Forever ^^
