My personal favorite pairing is Lestat/Louis..ermm or maybe Lestat with anyone. The art work is so beautifully done. I've been reading the chronicles since I was in fourth grade (I'm in college now) and I have always loved Lestat. He is amazing ^^;;
@lurkindarkness: Was Merrick in the 4th book? I thought she didn' come around until 'Merrick'. I was quite the the fan of hers too *gush* Yeah, if I remember correctly it is the fourth
2.The vampire Lestat (Nikki/Lestat mmmm)
3.Queen of the Damned (I didn't really care for the him and Akasha...)
4.Tale of the Body theif (He was invovled with a woman in this one too ne?)
5. Memnoch the Devil (Damn it Lestat with a woman again!)
After Memnoch I'm not exactly sure what order the books go because I was never sure if Pandora, Of Blood and Gold, and The Vampire Armond were considered to be in the New Vampires or The Vampire Chronicles @_@;; Anne Rice tends to confuse.
I know that Interview has it's own comic but do the other books have comics as well?I didn't mind Akasha (as a person... vampire... you know what I mean), but the other women who got with Lestat irked me in short amounts of time I never read the books in order, you can read most of them on their own anyway, s'long as I read 'em I don't care... I think the order is: Interview with the Vampire The Vampire Lestat The Queen of the Damned The Tale of the Body Thief Memnoch the Devil The Vampire Armand Merrick Blood and Gold Blackwood Farm Blood Canticle But... I reckon there are one or two that are out of order...

I don't know If i didn't like the other women Lestat got with because they were women or iff it was because they were mortals. I think the Queen of the Damned movie ruined my vision of him and akasha because I didn't mind them together as much until I saw that movie.

I think that was one of the only things I liked about the movie was the soundtrack... that and Marius and Lestat's brief past thing... and David was kinda cool towards the end, I could accept him.

I loved it whenever it was a Lestat/Louis moment, they made me fangirl very much. (yes, fangirl is now a verb)
I have to say that my favorite pairing though would be Marius/Armand. Its so sad how Armand keeps pushing his dear old master away.

I loved the first 4 books, but the others i didnt like. It seemed that Anne Rice went totally against everything she'd ever written about. Like she had books upon books where Louis refused to make anyone a vampire, then Merrick came along and he didnt hesitate. My favourite pairing is definately Armand and Daniel. I've always loved Armand, i found it tragic how he was made into a vampire so young, and has been around so long in the body of a child.
I read some great fanfics a couple of years ago, its just a shame that Anne Rice is totally against fanfiction and went to all out war against pther writers.

I heart heart heart Marius/Armand. Is it just me or was 'The Vampire Armand' the most homoerotic thing ever...The whole book was about Armand sleeping with...well...everyone. (cuz he's a slut and everyone knows it wink )
Yeah, Armand and Marius are my favorites. Lestat makes me laugh because he's such an idiot. He calls himslef the "James Bond of the vampires"...yeah right...more like the Rick James because Lestat is a superfreak.

Rio Ri The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice are so beautifully done in a homoerotic fashion. My personal favorite paring is Armand/Daniel (Though short lived, the best in my opinion)

I enjoy Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles, it's amazing, but I only read Four of her books. I might read the other another time, I'm a slow reader actually I just don't have time. Anyways I enjoy the movie interview with a vampire. OMG lestat, Tom cruz, he's sooooooo beautiful. I will love to touch him, specialy Brad pitt chracter too, Louis. WOW they should made it into some gay orgy or something it was sooo beautiful and erotic, so sexy, to see them that way lmao heart

Especially Armand/Daniel. ^_^But also about her writing. I actually wish she’d stopped at book three. And yeah, it is a shame Rice's is so against fanfics. I always consider fanfics a sort of homage to the author. I mean, I gotta really like your writing to be inspired to write a fic. But I have seen some doujins. They were kinda pretty. I think fics in foreign languages have actually escaped her wrath. I saw a few some years ago. As for what everyone else is saying about the women. I actually liked Lestat’s mother. I forgot her name, sorry it‘s been a few years since I‘ve read the books. I thought she was just cool. She was my favorite female and sometimes I liked her more than all those boys combined.

It makes sense considering what era she was a live in.

My favorite pairings:
Lestat/Louis: for me, this is almost a religion. 'nuff said.
Armand/Marius: complexity, complexity, complexity... and fun! Sexy fun!
Lestat/Nicolas: ridiculously cute. Particularly in running off to Paris together.
Louis/Armand: They're both total emotional wrecks, and they can sort of lean on each other in a fatalistic sense. Their relationship is really dark and interesting; I used to hate the idea of them being together after Claudia dies, now I like it. Quite a bit.

I've only read up to Queen of the Damned, but I got so annoyed at Lestat when he was with Akasha (or however her named is spelled). >.>
I squealed so loudly at the end of The Vampire Lestat when Lestat and Louis reunited. xD
Louis is my favorite character so much. So very much. I heart Louis. His emoness is the awesome. <3
