I watched the entire series online, and I own the first book. I love the series, and my favorite character would have to be Watari the ...doctor? Chemist... accident prone genius? Yeah, him. He's great! I also love the pairing sensibility for Asato and Bon. It's perfect in it's dark ways...

This series of manga and as well as the anime, has become one of my favorites. Tsuzuki and Hisoka make the PERFECT pairing!!!.

I love YnM!!! Its one of the new series that I have been keeping up with but I was buying two a week so it didn't take me long to get all the manga that I could. I can't wait for twelve to come out!!! Anywhos, I haven't seen the anime, just seen a few amv's for the series. I still think they look kinda odd in color...oh well. My fav character would have ta be Hisoka!!! He is just so cute!! And of course even cuter with Tsuzuki!

it is my all time favorite.
however i've only read up to like 11 in the manga
but i'm saving to get the dvd's.
however my sister's more likely going to watch it...is it appropriate for kids as young as 10-11???

ShadowedMoonlight Fantasy Moon Anime Corner sells all the DVDs in a box set for $30. Yay! I always wondered how the English voices sounded. Dan Green as Tsuzuki is just love! xd I have the first two manga. As you can see, I have been slacking in keeping up with the volumes. sweatdrop Nyagh, full box set for $30? Anime Corner sounds like a very good place. You can actually get it for around 20 dollars at Rightstuf, because CPM (the liscence holder for YnM, unfortunatly. Although they do make beautiful DVD's and some nice extras) repriced the YnM boxsets to 30 dollars because I guess they werent selling well at 90 dollars...

Especially the part with Hijiri and the Devil's Thrill. I love Yami no Matsuei! I've seen the Anime and read the Manga Vol.1-8. I've to say that I was impressed with the Anime. I didn't expect it to be as beautifully drawn as the books since the art in OVAs/Animes often doesn't meet the standards of the originals. My favourite pairings would be Muraki/Tsuzuki (for the drama) or Tsuzuki/Tatsumi (because they're just cute together, because I think Tsuzuki's too uke for Hisoka and because of Vol.5)

I was a little upset with the anime, because they really edited out a ton of the shonen-ai relationships! I wanted to see Tsuzuki and Tatsumi kiss!!! WAAAAAAAH~
Besides, I d Muraki's english voice. He sounds like he has the voice of a 50 year old, child molesting, recovering smoker (okay...the child molesting part is right, but w/e).

I haven't watched the anime but I read all the books for it that are out. Ya gotta love the shikigami. I think that's what they're called anyways. It's been a good while since I read the books. That one king guy that's locked in the desert looks cool. I don't remember his name. ///_^;

well I've read the mangas 1-10 I haven't had a chance to get 11 yet but I must say I like the manga more then the anime they just took out some things which was sad sad but either way they're both good.

OMG.....First to start my post I must say this....Bestbuy.com has all four of the volumes for $9.99 a piece and if you can find it in the store as well it's the same price. Get it before the company that produced it discontinues it like Nightwalker. The manga series is a whole load better than the anime....but you have to love that anime just as much as the manga. The series was supposed to be longer than 13 episodes but I think it was because only a certain number of the manga volumes were out at the time to only do the vampire, devil's trill and camillia arches that are covered in the first 3/4 volumes of the manga. Did anyone enjoy the catholic school arch in 5? I sure did 4laugh
I heart heart heart heart heart Tsuzuki/Hisoka!!! They are so cute together. You can see throughout the anime and into the manga series that there is some major chemistry going on between the two even though 'Soka-chan tries to deny when he feels all comforted by 'Zuki-kun.
I also love Tatsumi/Watari....that is an insane couple.
Unfortunantly the last time I had news about the manga series Matsushita-sama was on a hiatus on volume 12 but that was a few years ago so lets see what volume 12 has in store for us since the one shikigami the dragon god is looking for blood.... xd
Everyone must watch and read this series.
And Muraki is the OG of bad guys!!!!!

I own all four DVDs, as well as the 11 mangas that have been released by Viz Media... My fave pairings: Tsuzuki/Hisoka, Muraki/Oriya, Touda/Byakko, and Watari/Tatsumi
My fave charrie is Touda... although I also like Oriya quite a bit... Kurikara and Byakko are cute, but not really "favorite character" material.

I LOVE DofD! I have manga 1-4 and am in the process of getting the Dvds. I really didn't like Muraki or Watari's english voices and I really did like Hisoka's english voice. I didn't at first, it was a bit too monatone for me, then I relized how well it fit his character. The other voices I'm nutural about.
I was a little disipointed with the anime. That may be because I love the manga so much and they cut out so much.
My favorite pairings are Tsuzuki/Hisoka and Tsuzuki/Muraki. But I must say, there are so many hott characters in this that I think they should just have an orgy.
It would be Tsuzuki, Hisoka, Watari, and Tatsumi, then they could invite Hijiri, Abiko, Masaki, and Muraki.
I can see it now
Masaki- So, um... no hard feelings?
Tsuzuki+Hisoka- Not at all! Now take off your pants.
It could be great xd
