my mom thinks that mcr is just a band she doesent like them and she tells me not to copy anything they do

My parents dont really like them, but they dont really care either way. They dont mind the music I listen to, because we mostly like all the other bands I listen to.
My mom thinks Gee is pretty cute though.

Alexial7 My mom is Christian and all and she thinks that its a awful influence on me...and thinks that mcr are devil worshipers or something like that...wasent really listening... sweatdrop everytime she talks about them like that i get relly mad stressed yeah..... Same problem for me.. I'm Christian too but I think that Gerard, Mikey, Frank, Ray, and Bob are all pretty kick a** people and.. I adore their music.. my parents think they're evil, my mom thinks Gerard looks like he's on drugs (-hiss-) and it pisses me off. She refuses to let me play their music around her on CD..or on my own guitar or bass. stressed

when i say "My Chemical Romance" in my house hold my parent(s) either ignore me or say things like "whats that" and "is that a book?"

my parents thinki they're a "oh i'm so depressed, come be depressed with me and kill yourself" it gets me mad cuz thry're the exact opposite.

my parents are freakish... they think that i am way to obsessed. They can tolerate MCR, but they don't like it...

Well my mom took me to their concert with my friend and she was so cute; she had ear-plugs in the whole time! I love her 4laugh but when I asked her later if she had fun she told me that she thought they were "a little too rowdy" --again, I love her.
My dad on the other hand makes fun of them to no end. I won't even tell you what he says but he is always on my tail about the stuff I'm into.

my mom dusn't really pay much attention to wut i listen unless it's really bad. but in my family my chemical romance is known as my band becuz my dad got tired of tryin to remember the name when we talked about my music he was always like wut's ur favorite band again? y mom dusn't like rock all togther so she doesn't like em much she's scared i'm turnin goth and she likes to blame that on my music becuz of the make up and black and stuff. which is totally off base. firstly i'm not becoming a goth and that's not wut being a goth is about anyway.
