xxantuxx EternalHearts From the point of someone that like stones in general, I think that's really cool. But, I'm not neopagan or Wiccan or anything like that, so would never have/use one for other than aesthetic purposes. But I would like to see some pics. Alright, Ill try to get some pics up... i have 2 of my dads up but theyre early ones and not my fave to look up... but here have a look... I can probably customize one for you... type of handle, length of blade, thicknes.. one is about the size of a small kitchen knife, the other the size of a machette! http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b243/xxantuxx/106_1366.jpghttp://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b243/xxantuxx/106_1363.jpgthe first one is just a regular twisted pattern made of Mammoth Ivory the second one has turquoise and opal inlayed into a deer antler handle Those are really quite beautiful blades. Is there any way to make the surface smoother though? Would it be possible to use a belt grinder to even it out? I'm also wondering just what the process is of making one, but I suppose that's asking a little too much if you want people to buy yours and not make their own.

I could grind them but that takes away from the purpose of them i think... i make them in a similar way theyve been made for thousands of years, basically just chippin off the edge of the blade...

I wasn't suggesting just grinding them down. I really do hate the way a lot of blades are forged without the care of hand making it. Instead of just cold grinding, but after you have chiseled out the shape, to just smooth it out so it might look like a regular metal knife. Granted, there will be those who want it just the way it is (I'd want one like that in addition to the smooth one) as it does seem to stir up some rather nostalgic emotions, particularly those of Native American descent.
