When her voice rang out behind him, Mike didn't bother to turn. A smile tugged at the corner of his lips knowing that he hadn't scared her off. Despite his indecency, the poor attempt at swimming, and the admission of his late wife Alosa had still come to meet him. The sounds of fabric shuffling behind him was all he needed to tell him that she was pulling off whatever cover she had worn to the pool. Despite knowing that they were going to be spending a fair amount of time together in swim clothes, it felt more polite to give her some privacy.

Finally, he pulled his eyes away from the window to stare down at the surface of the water. It was funny how the last time he was here things hadn't seemed to go all that well. Between not knowing what he was doing and nearly drowning anyway. No, maybe they had gone just how they should have. "I haven't been here long myself." Letting his eyes leave the water they drifted back towards Alosa as she was throwing her hair up into a bun.

As she slipped past him and into the water, he couldn't help a chuckle. Her? Clumsy? Sure, she'd slipped the last time they had been at the pool. But the floor around them had been slick and at the end of the day she hadn't been injured. Waving a hand down his chest as Alosa pushed her bangs out of her face, Michael smiled. "I think I might be the last person allowed to judge you for being clumsy. My entire body is a testament to my inability to keep my feet under me." The laugh carried into his voice. Nearly every scar on his body was from his own doing. Which was probably somewhat impressive, all things considered, yet didn't make it any less embarrassing that he was such a walking disaster.

Resting his palms on the ledge of the pool, he lifted himself so that he could shift and slip into the water. The school was kind enough to use some kind of Funkazan device to heat the pool, yet it didn't make it any less jarring to slip into the water and feel the cooler water on his skin. Letting himself dip down, he got his head wet before standing and pushing his hair back. "Now then, Miss Alosa, I would say I'm in a much better position to learn from you today." With a crooked smile, his yellow eyes shifted into green as they darted down to the swimming trunks that sat on his hips and back up to meet her gaze. "What would you have me learn first?"
