☇ Eros is, first and foremost, an introverted person who prefers the company of cats and historical text over people. But, he's by no means socially inept. On the contrary, his upbringing has left him with all the social grace expected of someone born into such a powerful family. And, he's naturally confident in himself, making it easy to play the part of the socialite when necessary without it being a mask. For the most part, what people see upon meeting him is what they get. But, of course, he is human and has his struggles. Eros is incredibly stubborn, backing down for almost no one, and can find himself rambling about things that interest him much to the annoyance of others. He's also deeply insecure about his identity, though one would have to be incredibly close to him to be entrusted with this part of him.
「 ʙɪᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ 」
☇ Since the original Order of Olympus was forced to flee Greece, the Castellanos have held onto the power of Hermes. This power is, and always has been, particular about the Vessel that inherits its power. To be specific, even in ancient times when the Order would host duels to determine a worthy successor of their power, Hermes has only ever properly bonded to men. In modern times, the power is inherited by the first son born after the passing of the previous user. So, naturally, it was quite a shock and historical moment in the family when Eros, formerly known as Amara, was born with Hermes' telltale two-toned eyes. Needless to say, it was a crushing disappointment when at twenty-one, Eros came out as transgender. He hasn't had contact with his family since. Other than that one event, Eros has had a very easy life. He graduated as one of the top members of his class, attended university where he majored in history, language and mythology, and even completed his transition during his university years.
☇ So, one might wonder what it was that brought him to the Order of Olympus. To put it simply, though he is honored to have inherited his family's heirloom God, Eros actually detests it entirely. Though he's fully aware it wasn't the only motivator for his family's prejudice against him, being the one to inherit the power caused a much bigger rift than he might've gotten had it not existed in the first place. It won't fix the problems with his family, of course, but Eros is more than happy to be rid of Hermes' blessing. As to why he simply didn't hand it over to the Order and carry on with his life, well....It's still his family's heirloom. If it is to disappear from the world, he should be the one to bid farewell to it.

☇ Invisibility : Even though it only lasts for five minutes with each activation, Eros is able to become invisible. Because of its short activation period and the fact that it has a cooldown, it must be used strategically.

☇ When activated, the Eyes of Hermes causes Eros' eyes to glow. This is part of the reason he can typically be found wearing ultra dark sunglasses; he doesn't need anyone knowing his family's secret. Another factor is that people can get freaked out by them and he'd rather not cause a scene. He personally loves the unique colors of his eyes, though.
☇ Eros actually detests black liquorice and cotton candy; the former is just gross and the latter's texture bothers him. He says he named his cats after his two most hated candies so he could joke to people about how much he loves Black Liquorice and Cotton Candy.
☇ Eros likes clothes that reveal as much skin as he can get away with. Chest windows, visible waist, etc. He knows he's pretty, so why shouldn't he show off?
☇ When frustrated or flustered, Eros will switch to Greek.
☇ Eros has never touched traditional Duel Monsters in his life, but he has a fairly strong reputation among the Dungeon Dice Monsters and Spherium communities.
☇ The Castellanos family is a very wealthy, very powerful family based in Japan. Their business deals in fashion and beauty with their leading brand of beauty products being Goddess of Beauty. Eros' eldest sister, Cora, is one of the world's top fashion designers. He actually buys exclusively from her line. Not just because he loves and wants to support her, but also because despite her designs' high tier quality, they're extremely affordable.

 A couple years ago, when the Order tracked down the Essence of Dionysus, it was Eros that was sent to do the job. He hadn't expected to run into a roadblock in the form of a transference of power. It's not confirmed, of course, but it's pretty damn obvious that Gabriel is the new holder of Dionysus. If only Eros could get him to agree to a challenge. Sadly, Gabriel isn't a fool and knows everything he needs to know about them. He won't be an easy one to get.

Calcifer. There's not much Eros can say about this one that would put him in a negative light, though he's fully aware he's biased. Questionable tendencies aside, he's a reliable teammate. Handsome, too, though Eros isn't blind. Even if he were interested in taking that anywhere, it's kind of obvious from one smitten man to another that Calcifer's got eyes for someone already.
