Oh I do. I read a book last week called Twilight, and it was about a girl named Bella and a boy/vampire called Edward. It was a really nice story, one of the best I've read, but I always thought to myself it would've been better if Bella was a boy! And there's lots of other too. Like FMA, Roy ... Ed. whee

I did have this one idea for a fanfic once with Gundam Wing's Duo Maxwell as the Phantom, only it was kinda AUish in the Phantom's plotline as Duo was normal to begin with but became 'scarred' from a fire. Trowa and Quatre bought the abandoned opera house while Heero of course played the part of the one that Duo became obsessed with. Also, one other AUish thing is that Duo and Heero knew each other before the whole opera house thing. I don't think I ever got around to posting it though.

Oh, I imagine that all the time. It would be so hot. They should make a movie like that. I'd buy it.

timstut X.rainbowflavoredpride.X I don't find straight couples boring O___o We should be all-out for love of all kinds....>> so true xD True but twisting stuff is fun ^_^ for some reason when stright pairings are about to kiss and hook up, it makes me want to gag...most of them do anyway (Good example of stright pairing i like: Chii/Hideki from chobits), but when I think of/see two boys hooking up I'm like Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!! heart heart heart heart And i agree its really easy to twist stright pairings esspecilly if nothings really happened between said pairing: Example FMA: People pair Hawkeye with Roy even though next to nothing happens between the two! Hence why everyone thinks Roy is better with ed! Think about it, who does Roy give the most attentiion to even thoygh its negative? Ed of course! XD see? It's that easy XD

[.La.Esperanca.] Twisting Straight Romance...? All right, I've got a question for everyone. In French, we watched The Phantom of the Opera and I've found myself imagining Christine Daae as a male... I really do adore The Phantom of the Opera, probably my favorite movie/musical but I've found the straight love-triangle rather boring.
Has anyone found themselves twisting around The Phantom of the Opera for more amusement, or am I alone in this peculiar game? I did that! I wrote a small fanfic mirroring Phantom where Sesshomaru (from InuYasha) was Christine Daae, Yusuke (From YuYu Hakusho) Was the phantom. Marius (From books by Ann Rice) was Raoul. Sesshy and Yusuke got together and killed Marius. I dont know, I weird aren't I?

I did that with V for Vendetta. D: I don't know why, though. Eeeve (or however you spell her name) is cool, and V doesn't seem all that gay. D: I've got to watch Phantom of the Opera sometime. I've heard that it's very good.

Has anyone found themselves twisting around The Phantom of the Opera for more amusement, or am I alone in this peculiar game? Your post reminded me of a fanfic I read. It was a SatoxDai from DN ANGEL. It was very cute, Satoshi was the phantom and Daisuke played christines part only he was a boy and yea...it was pretty awesome! I read it on fanfiction.net, im not sure if it's still there though...i read it awhile ago... sweatdrop
