Valko watched Hatil worriedly as she seemed to stumble when he put her down. He was about to try and grab her when she manged to get her balance and gave him a thumbs up.

The plush chairs where very comfortable. Valko nodded in agreement as Hatil started to point out fish to the waiter. They all looked so good!


After a few minutes the Cherub returned carrying several fish dishes. Sushi, crab cake and grilled salmon among others. He figured she wanted several dishes since they pointed to EVERY FISH. But bringing out every fish dish on the menu was a bit overboard. "Please Enjoy" He said before leaving to find some smarter company.

Hatil rocked on her chair, happily swinging her legs below her with her hands on the table.

As the waiter started to fly away, she called out behind it, "Drinks..?!" Didn't want to have a repeat of the night. After a pause, just as it had recovered from the sudden order, she yelled again, "Sweet drinks! Make them a suuuuper yummy one!"

She wasn't about to let the food get her like earlier. And look, she'd even ordered one for Valko; what a good friend she was!

Now looking down at the food once more, she audibly licked her lips before reaching to grab a shiny piece of saba sushi. It had such a strong smell! In her mouth in one bite, she chewed around a bit before grinning, swallowing, and pointing at a second piece that'd been paired with it. "Tastes like fish!"

A few minutes later into their eating, the waiter returned with two fruity drinks perfect for a tropical environment: a pina colada and a tequila sunrise. Given the class of such a resort, they were properly served in highball glasses. The pina colada came garnished with a slice of grilled pineapple and a candied cherry, while the sunrise was similarly decorated using an orange slice in lieu of the pineapple. A fresh film of water was beginning to condensate to the sides of the glasses, attesting to their freshness. A sniff would make it obvious that they, likewise, contained the proper level of alcohol, if less detectable by scent due to the freshness of the ingredients.

Drinks, what a good idea! He was glad that Hatil remembered to order drinks. It would go great with their food!

He watched as Hatil ate the sushi, and was happy to see she seemed to be enjoying it. He took a piece of salmon for himself, leaving all the sushi to Hatil. She could have whatever she wanted. Well maybe not the yummy beef he was saving in his bag. He liked that a lot, but maaaybe he's share a piece with her.

Picking the fish up with his hands he took a large bite out of it. Mmm it was good. "Yes, Fishy" He agreed. It was good, he'd hate to be served fish that didn't taste right. What kind of awful place had not fish. He looked at the tank and saw some weird noodle creatures and wiggly things. He wondered if they tasted like fish.

Ooh the drinks looked so yummy! He could smell the alcohol and faint scent of fruits. Since Hatil had ordered them it was only right she chose her drink first. Plus he wouldn't have to decided which one seemed better when they both looked amazing.

She couldn't help but giggle as Zoran just got super excited over the aquarium. She was also glad when he pointed out the scuba equipment. So she wasn't going to have to hold her breath. "Alright. I'll give it a go. I've been practicing swimming but...I'm still a little bit off so you'll help me,right?" She made her way to the cherub and started to put on the flippers and the snorkel. She awkwardly moved to turn to Zoran. "I feel a bit silly...But I guess this is how you feel when you're on land huh?" She let out a nervous laugh. "Let's go see those sharks- They won't bite me will they?" Being eaten wasn't something she wanted on this trip.

Food? Food sounded wonderful! After assisting his golden winged goddess into a plush seat, he beckoned a waiter over. "Can I get a menu please?"

The cherub nodded before stepping back and returning with two menus.

He nestled up next to Harmonia with both in hand. "Uh... Would you like me to read you it, my beautiful love?" He spoke when he realized her vision might not be up to snuff for looking at words.

Cami was surprised by how energetic the male was. "Nice to meet you Zaba, I am Cami. The party seems to be very exciting. I tried some of the... " Cami Stopped when she realized the green male was talking again. Watching as Zaba put his hand out. Cami looked at his hand thinking for a second about whether to take it or not before smiling and taking Zaba's hand. "Lets go" she said in an excited voice

Hatil absolutely beamed when Valko tried the piece she'd motioned to and then complimented it, almost as if he had actually been complimenting her instead. He might as well have been. Once he'd had his fill, she was content to busy herself with the rest of the sushi.

For some reason, it was the raw fish she really had an inkling for.

At least she was calm enough to eat them one at a time.

Once the drinks were laid out, she immediately was draw to the bright color contrasts of the tequila sunrise. She'd hesitated, wondering if Valko preferred one over the other, but quickly grew impatient and took the orange and red glass. A quick sniff made her hum happily; it smelled so fruity and yummy! Like juice! What was this stuff? Then without pause, she took a sizable drink of it.

It was even better! It tasted so sour and sweet and cold and a little bitter and... there was another flavor she couldn't quite place, but it was great too! What a good idea. Good job her.

Looking up, she watched Valko's reaction to the other drink before pressing on, "What'dya think? Is it tasty? Is this place cool? Are you having fun?!"

Only with Tristen's help was Harmonia able to sit and not lose part of her dress to a wardrobe malfunction. In the alcohol induced fog a question appeared, when did these sets start to move? Were these seats supposed to move? Just like the tide, the questions came and faded away when her Champion sat beside her.

Fully abandoning her own seat, the Deity all but crawled into his lap snuggling up against her Fae. Amusing herself by playing with the top buttons of his shirt, she answered by giving orders without hesitation, "Ambrosia, the fresh catch of the day baked and steamed vegetables." On the menu or not, somewhere in the lower inhibitions the care was not found.

Valko made sure to leave a little of what ever he ate just in case Hatil wanted some.

Once she took her drink he quickly took the other one. The pina colada had a fruity scent and was a soft color unlike Hatil's brightly colored one. The drink was good!

He nodded at Hatil's rapid fire questions. "Yes" The drink was good, and hanging out with her was a lot of fun!

As she sipped on her drink, a small pout began to form on her lips as an evident truth became ever clearer with the blurring of her vision: Valko was too far away! Boo! She seemed almost annoyed as she paused her sipping to narrow her eyes into the empty space before her, thinking of a solution to the problem at hand. Think... Think...

A sudden grin and nod gave notice that she'd come up with one.

Setting the drink back where it'd been originally, she picked up the side of her chair's base and (less than) quietly scooted such that she was snug sitting directly next to Valko. Their chairs were nearly flush against each other. She looked over at him and nodded once, the grin plastered to her face, before she retrieved her drink and brought it closer to her once more. What a smart bird she was! Now Valko was right here~! So close! Perfect! Looking forward at the food once more, she noticed that he wasn't finishing any of his plates. That was no good; you weren't supposed to eat food!

Only one thing to do.

Without hesitation, she took over the role as the cleaner of Valko's plate, ensuring each was cleaned of food before being taken back. "Yummy?"

Valko frowned as Hatil's eyes narrowed. Had he done something wrong? Was she mad at him? This was supposed to be fun! Happy Hatil!!!!

A few cherubs glanced their way upon hearing the screeching of Hatil moving her chair.

Valko was relived to find that Hatil seemed happier once she had moved closer to him.

Sipping his drink he watched as Hatil devoured the remnants of his food. Hmm looks like the food was gone and now it was just the drinks.

"Good!" He smiled while thinking about what to do when they finish drinks. "Next?" He asked before taking another sip.

Now, Hjortur had figured that Kel's drink had been wine, but he hadn't remembered her being such a lightweight.

A small film of sweat dotted his forehead as he helped support her now even more unsteady weight. It was, actually, quite the workout to try and make it seem effortless.

Concurrently, his heart had begun to speed up out of nowhere. He attributed the change to the new source of exercise, one that used muscles less necessary in an aquatic environment, but that wasn't it. He could practically feel his mind quickening and his body becoming restless. Uncomfortably so. It was like he just needed to be out and doing something.

Was it the drink?

Or was it him?

Agh! He didn't know anymore!

Upon reaching the water's edge, he noticed quite a few others (land pae'il too) congregating around a more colorful part of it. If he was better acquainted with Kel's family, he might have even noticed her son among those there. It was unclear if he would have thought much of it though; at this point, he figured their relationship was pretty common knowledge among their relatives and peers. And probably a few outside of that circle too. It was part of the reason he'd been a bit more distant recently, an attempt to keep her family from being affected by his family's current circumstances. Perhaps unnecessary, but he did so anyways. Better to be proactive than reactive.

No! Stop! Bad thoughts! He promised he wouldn't think about that today!

Turning to walk along the edge, he pulled Kel along to pay his way in - well, he'd tried to pay both their ways in, but they weren't having any of that for some reason. nothing worth starting a scene - and help her with hers. Rather than the restaurant, he continued on to sit at the water's edge.

He was blissfully unaware of any sharks nearby.

Looking to Kel, he offered a smile and helped steady her beside him. "You feeling okay?"

Hatil sighed contently as she finished up her drink, a small 'hic' escaping her lips in the process. Happy Hatil was happy~ This was a great evening.

As Valko continued talking, her body swayed and her shoulder took residence against his shoulder. Ahh.... So warm. She loved how warm her bestest friend felt. Grinning happily, she leaned further into him and snuggled affectionately, beyond delighted to be spending this moment with him. "Next~?" But in doing so, a strange feeling was beginning to well up.

It was hot.

Cheeks thoroughly flushed, lips lightly parted and pursed, her eyes seemed to close as she quietly contemplated on the new feeling, her nuzzling growing softer in the process. She didn't understand it, but it wasn't entirely unpleasant. If she had to describe it... It was like her heart was beating too quickly, like she was restless and wanted to get closer, closer, even closer to him.

If she had to describe it...

It was like she found her friend so cute she wanted to eat him right up.

Twisting her neck to look up at him, her half-lidded eyes seemed to pierce right through him, not unlike a hunter coolly observing their prey. Her bright green irises appeared even more luminescent against the deep red of her cheeks. Then they narrowed ever so slightly, taking on a more mischievous glint, as her mouth turned up into a suggestive smile. "Next...~?" Her tone was lower than usual as it dragged the word on. She notably did not answer the question

Instead, ever so slowly, she licked her lips, her eyes never once leaving him.

Kelebek fumbled with her coins to pay her own way in, giggling at her own clumsiness. "Woops!" she exclaimed as she dropped one, then quickly bent down to grab it.

She followed along with Hjortur at the water's edge, eager to get back in the water. She watched the gathered crowd with interest, and even noticed a familiar pink male among them. Could that be Zoran? No, it couldn't be....could it? She hardly recognized him without his tail! "Z--" she started to call for him, then noticed him interacting with a very pretty girl. "Oh," she breathed, surprised, then giggled quietly toward Hjortur. "Looks like Zoran's got a date...I didn't know he was seeing anyone..." For a moment she felt hurt that he hadn't even brought her around to introduce her, but it seemed that, at present, she was unable to feel anything but bubbly giddiness.

In fact, she couldn't muster up any of her usual anxiety. She felt free! "I feel fantastic," she gushed in response to Hjortur's question with an expansive arm gesture that threatened to topple her once more. She snickered. "Although I do think we'd better get back in the water before I knock us both over. So clumsy!"
