Cerpin continued singing his showstopper of a song while fumbling around in the darkness. He had to find some way to restore the lights otherwise he was never going to be able to leave this mock battle. It was too difficult to find the exit without any light.

"Wait, is that... you?" He was grabbing on to something that felt warm but he wasn't quite sure which part of Tevini it was. It didn't feel very plush though... more like a bone of some kind rather than something soft.

Oh s**t was this her throat?

A hand swiped at her and Tevini backed away instinctively. She knew nothing dangerous was going to happen here, it was just Cerpin. Yet, it was kind of scary to be grabbed in the dark.

Especially by the neck.

"Nooo!" The redblood shrieked, pushing him away hard. He flew backwards from the impact of her push, combined with her powers accelerating his flight out of control into the opposite stage wall. As she screamed, she stumbled away towards the backstage area. Bumping into a control panel, the lights came back on, blinding everyone in the area. That wasn't the only thing to explode across the stage, however. She'd somehow managed to hit another control that erupted glitter from above. It swirled down to cascade and fill the area.

As her eyes adjusted, she stepped back on the stage into it- dazzled.

Somehow in the darkness, Cerpin had gotten tangled up in one of the other spaceship costumes. He blinked as the lights came back on, eyes adjusting to the brightness again. Glitter rained down from above and he yelped, dashing out from under it to avoid getting totally covered in it. He was unsuccessful. He was, however, successful at knocking into Tevini accidentally.

"Gah- whoops! Sorry-" The combined costumes were hard to navigate in and he reached down to help the redblood up. He was starting to feel a little bad about all of the hell he'd put her through.

"Whoa!" Tevini yelped as she was knocked to the floor. Wincing, she rubbed the back of her head before realizing Cerpin was extending his hand. Looking up at him, the girl flushed as he looked handsome as ever with glitter cascading around him. Somehow even like this he managed to look cool. It was unfair. She looked a mess with glitter all over her. Accepting his hand, she rose to her feet once more, wondering how to salvage the remainder of the play. If she recalled correctly, she was supposed to be heading into a collision with the other battleships.

"Where did you go, Great Space Worm?" Gog she felt ridiculous saying this out loud. Raising a hand to her forehead, Tevini pretended to look around for her target. It helped to protect her eyes from the glitter a bit too. The lighting changed color to that of a hazy magenta to reflect the supposed drugged state they were entering now. Carefully she tried to make her way around the stage while 'searching' for the now vanished worm.

"RooooAAARRRGGhhhh!" The 'Space Worm' did circles around each of the various space ship costumes, including the one Tevini was wearing, to simulate the confusing sensor readings indicated in the original script. Cerpin smacked the end of his tail against Tevini's butt accidentally but found it so hilarious that he did it a second time again for comedic effect.

Come on, it was funny.

"Cut it out!" Tevini whisper-hissed as Cerpin started messing around again. They were almost done with the scene, which meant they could get off stage and go be reasonable people again. Oh wait, of course! That's why he was goofing off- he wanted to prolong this as long as possible. Well she wasn't going to let him!

"There you are, Great Space Worm!" The redblood dressed as a Battleship called out, grabbing a hold of Cerpin's tail. Ignoring his giggly protests, she yanked hard for the finale.

Pulling him towards her- she body-slammed him, it was time to collide!

Okay maybe she was right. Maybe it was time to bring this play to an end. Cerpin grunted as she rough housed with him. Moving in the costumes was not as easy as you would think and he swayed to keep his balance.

"Skreeee-!" This time he began throwing fake punches at her, mimicking a battle without actually hitting her. He wanted to lull her into a fake sense of safety before delivering the final blow. Cerpin was also backing her towards the other spaceships on the ground to complete the final tragic end of the story...

"Whoa!" Tevini hadn't realized Cerpin's strategy until it was too late and she was tripping backwards over the other Battleships aka decorated cardboard boxes. Yelping as she landed on her butt with the boxes flying up and then tumbling back down on her. The redblood flushed from the humiliation of losing to such a simple idea. Still, it was what they had needed to complete the play and so she did not protest, she merely stayed down and pouted.

It was finally done. Cerpin picked up the last remaining box and lifted it over Tevini's fallen form. Something crazy glinted in his eyes, playful Cerpin was not usually a good thing for Tevini. He brought it down hard on her, cardboard smacking onto the top of her head as all three spaceships finally collided. The giant space worm then disappeared into nothing, leaving just the crumpled remains of broken space dreams.

"Good show!" He cracked up 'backstage', tugging off his costume and failing to hide the laughter in his voice. That had been a lot more fun than drawing the maps even though he knew it was the opposite for her. Pulling something out of one of the bags they'd brought, he set out two bottles of juice, one for each of them. The hard work of tonight was done and it was time to rest and relax now.
