All that was left was a battered up knight, who was apparently much closer that she had initially thought. That feeling of relief was quickly replaced by anxiousness as a not so distant figure came into view through the wooded brush. Guess Shion would be getting that fight she wanted after all. The girl dropped from the tree branch she had previously been on, before it was apparent that combat was inevitable, and cracked her knuckles in a show of bravado. How did she plan on getting through his armor, Xion wanted to know? "Same way I solve every other problem. I'm going to punch it really, really hard." Holy s**t, Shion, could you have said an even cheesier line? You think that's cool? Really?

Without a single word, Xion simply tapped her hand atop of Tomorrow's knuckles and then backed away, distancing herself further and further from Shion and the incoming knight in armor. Her steps, try as she might, were noisy, but maybe the knight would be even noisier and not notice as Xion hid behind not just the first line of trees but the second.
As she walked back, hand signs had already begun weaving themselves into the formations for Konton: Sou no Suji [ Soul Release: Layer of Muscle ] and Konton: Wanryoku [ Soul Release: Brute Strength ]. What was it? Punch hard? Xion could help Tomorrow with that. Through the soul link initiated upon Xion's earlier tap, the buffs would travel to Tomorrow, magnified by Xion's dedication to support. From Layer of Muscle, Tomorrow would receive a supreme increase to strength [+6]. From Brute Strength, Tomorrow would receive slightly above a supreme increase to strength [+7]. A whopping +12 dr to strength, alone, and only strength.
Upon reaching that second line of trees she was so determined to hide behind, Xion sat comfortably upon her knees. The tree completely blocked her view as it also completely blocked anyone from seeing her. However, that didn't matter to Xion. She couldn't see in the first place. To finally look up to a unexpected surprise of the one Shinobi still being in the location of which he had assumed. It seemed Shion would recieve a first hand scolding first before a beating. Clearly this man found her poor choice of attire for combat more urgent than an actual threat of being attacked. The familiar hammer the duo had a run in with earlier still large and easily at the ready to be drawn.

In the moments right before the enemy fighter's moves, Shion quickly began to scan the enemy's armor for weak points. Naturally, throwing fists against steel would be a bad idea, but there were always spots that could be exploited. Based on a cursory glance, it seemed the man's armor would be weakest near the joints. Spots like under the shoulder, near the mid section, and at the elbow and knees. Good. Now she had a game plan in action and could work this data into her plan... if you could call it that. Once analasys was complete, Shion assumed a fighting pose and threw up her chakra aura, further increasing her strength.

The man would place his hand on his face covering it briefly as he shook his head while looking down. "Hmph debauched young chickadees such as yourselves deserve a spanking. You should be careful with your promiscuity you know...it might 'entice' some 'individuals' to MISBEHAVE." Raising his head the mans face contorted into some twisted form of smile with skewed proportions, his eyes grew red and vibrated wildly, if Shion were to match this gaze her body would be overwhelmed with a feeling of disgust. Yes, this man portrayed himself to be the gentlemanly sort but there was no doubt a face like this belonged to a lech. Then Two eye like area's in his armor began to glow as did his hammer.
Suddenly grabbing his hammer with only one hand in a feat of strength he'd charge Shion unexpectedly fast comparably to how he was equipped. A devastating upward swing and then a follow up to send her even further so that she could experience the full punishment of falling to the ground. Shion's analysis of the mans armor would find in all to honesty little to no actual kinks. This was an advanced piece of armor despite how traditional it looked but the two areas on the chest piece that glowed would draw ones eye to it. Gekitsui [ Shooting Down ] Rank: B :: Spiritual + 12 Str = {S} Spiritual Description: A technique used to launch a target not touching the ground. When used alongside a strike, this technique converts the destructive force of the strike to a display of overwhelming strength by sending the target flying. Launches the enemy 3 meters in any direction per rank of the paired strike, inflicting the damage of the strike to the target should anything interrupt the movement. Max Speed: B-Rank.
Lucky that Shion had taken the time to study and read her opponent's moves. During his long winded assault, Shion was able to quickly take up a defensive position, getting ready for the hammer fall. Her opponent would successfully close the gap and swing his weapon, but right before the moment of impact, deflect the blow by quickly striking the arm wielding the weapon, and sending the blow of the hammer away from her and directly into the ground between the two. While this would be enough to stop the initial hammer fall, the two would still be separated by the aftershock. Shion wouldn't let this moment go to waste, however. While in mid air, Shion would perform a quick string of hand seals and create a single Shadow Clone, both landing safely on the forest floor.

"Hah...I suppose I can't pull any punches with you. I'm certain losing a fraction of this island won't matter. Obliterating you pesky gnats in the process will be well worth it." It would be believed that Shion's counterattack would have sent the shock-wave and force of impact back towards the armor clad man sending him hurdling or at least denting his pristine plate. BUT NAY! As the smoke cleared the man was unscathed! He hadn't even moved! Around him a aura like shield of chakra! Projected from the two eye-like glowing area's glowing on his plate and then dimmed.
"To think such a small body could hold so much power behind it! You'd make a worthy wench when you come of age of course...or perhaps there's no need to wait. I should repay your favor in due turn!" Suddenly the man rose his hammer and slammed it into the ground. Shion would then see him ascend from the recoil...how many feet you may ask? Fourteen. AND NOW CAME A DYNAMIC DESCENT OF TRULY ASTRONOMICAL PROPORTIONS THE HAMMER WOULD COME DOWN ON WHAT WAS BELIEVED TO BE SHION...but it didn't matter because when it landed and explosion of earth and rock would occur leaving an unholy sized crater of twenty two feet a.k.a seven meters in diameter from the point of impact uprooting the surrounding trees and perhaps its debris destroying any over eccentric clones or a maid in hiding.

Ooishitsubushi [ Boulder Crush ] Rank: X :: Complex {B} + 18 {S+} Description: A sharp, Chakra-infused downward smash with the hammer. Upon impact, Chakra diffuses through the struck object, causing deep fissures to appear in a wide area around the strike. The area affected starts as a circle 1 meter across and extends a meter down, increasing by a meter in both directions for every rank above E-Rank. When used on a surface of stone or hardened earth, the surface is blown apart into loose pebbles or dirt, respectively. This technique is treated as being a rank higher for dealing with Doton techniques that use those materials.
The sight of such an ungodly armored behemoth taking flight sent Shion into pure fight or flight mode. She momentarily blanked out instinct took over. The moment the man took flight, both her and her clone strung together hand seals. As the knight soared downwards at the girl, hammer ready to paint the floor a very rich shade of Shion colored mess, her clone split into two, while the original seeming vanished into a gust of wind. Clone one took the forefront and blasted a powerful gust of wind at the man, but it would only be enough to slow his descent. Luckily, the second clone was on standby, focusing all of its energy into one forceful punch at the hammer, hopefully knocking it off center and away from the remaining clone. Once the clone's had stopped the hammer strike, Shion appeared, just as suddenly as she had disappeared, in the air, right above the Knight, thrusting her hand downward at the man's collarbone with her fingers extended in a knife-like fashion. Mere moments before impact, the same powerful blast of chakra that had halted the hammer would rip out of shion's fingers, threatening to rend the armored man's chest cavity from the inside. It was an all or nothing play, as in it was all she had left, cause there was nothing left she could do to hurt him.

On his way down, clone 1 blasts him with zankuuha to try and stop him, inadvertantly eating up the 1 instance of shielding. Clone 2 deflects the hammer blow with a taijutsu of equal power, while shion shinsun's back in stabbing him in the neck with a chakra blast while he is distracted. ]]

Natsu didn't hesitate the moment she heard the man say do it. The technique charged in her sleeve knife was activated and just as she had disappeared explosions consumed the area. She was high up in a tree slightly north of her last position. A large branch torn from it as she had substituted with it to get out of there. The explosions going off one at a time consuming the area as Natsu looked back to her target. Curious to see if he was alive or not. Her arrow was still where his head was so the moment he'd turn solid he'd be dead. Then she would explode the arrow to kill his partner as well once they turned solid. Until then she sat on the branch leaning against the tree. Humming and relaxing to gather her wits about her once more. As she was aware of everything around her she was not worried in the slightest. If anything she was continuously acting like a spider on this island.
Making a clone she knew what had to be done. The clone stood guard and maintained her awareness while watching the body. Ready to send up her report to the chuunin should her foe be truly dead. In the mean while real Natsu yawned and fell into a cat nap. After all she had used up a lot of her chakra and stamina to take on someone stronger than her.

These techniques maintain the same description and criteria to use, as well as require the same amount of time to mold the chakra through the weapon as would be needed to perform hand seals, meaning the techniques are not instantaneously cast. The userβs spirit is so strong, that they can utilize their physical bukijutsu techniques to negate ninjutsu techniques of the same rank or below.
β Resolution: The user is more determined to get fine details from his sensory techniques, but in order to get this type of clarity the user's range of the technique is reduced by half. The user is able to discover type of technique that is about to be active (fuuin, genjutsu, ninjutsu, custom jutsu, complex tai and buki), even specifics such as Bloodline type and rank. Additionally, the user can gain similar information about any chakra source in their sensory technique's range, including what bloodline the person possesses, assuming the user has seen the bloodline before, and approximately how large their chakra pool is.
β Resolution 2: Members of the Resolution discipline have three-quarters the range, instead of half.
β Skill: Multitasking While the first two stages of the style revolve around the very basics of how to use a bow, the third stage incorporates the use multiple arrows into a more stylish way of battling. Mastery allows the user to simultaneously fire multiple arrows with any technique that does not specifically state otherwise, and allows the Arrow Creation technique to create up to three arrows at once with no increase in cost.
β Skill: Manipulation Manipulating the bow itself is simple, but controlling the arrows is very difficult. Many enhancements can be made to arrows to give them different flight paths, but buying those kinds of arrows is expensive and making them is difficult, so a method was developed wherein the user can freely alter how an arrow flies without need for such trifles. During this training, the user practices firing arrows with abnormal hand positions. β Trick Style: Knife Toss The practitioner has developed a greater sense of precision and is now able to throw, juggle, and catch their knives by the hilt with ease. Confers a slight reflex bonus to the practitioner.
β Offensive Style: Artless Draw The practitioner has better developed their ability to pull their blade straight from its resting place to an offensive slash. Slightly increases the speed of strikes made when drawing a small weapon.

β Trick Style: Retreating Feet The practitioner, already acquainted with many techniques in the style, has finally realized that with a little bit of personal training, they are able to increase the precision and speed at which they lift and press their feet. The practitioner's footsteps are rendered silent to all who do not have enhanced hearing, and the footsteps they leave in soft ground are shallow. This not only assists their ability to sneak up on people faster and quieter, but also helps when running from trackers.

After a grueling run across the ocean surface under the heat of the sun the three members of the reinforcement squad would arrive at the Endaishima shore. Hopefully they might find some respite from the sun and heat once solid ground was under their feet. Of course there was no time to rest however as they needed to link up with the others and mount some kind of rescue.

Before the dust cleared to Natsumi her sensory perceptions would have registered the man as dead, and likely based on the assumption the arrow had killed him. When the smoke finally cleared however, what was left of the man would have been a peculiar sight. Even though he was still considered bound he was no fool entirely, as whilst ethereal he had rolled in such a way that his head would not be impaled. This meant it wasn't the arrow that had killed him. Natsumi's explosive tags would been lost in the explosions, as essentially the radius of the explosions engulfed where the ethereal man was, their main intention of course trying to rid the webs which still remained, the arrow remained but to say explosive tags would have remained in an explosion them self was a doubt-able ideal.
The Killswitch then triggered, as most UHV armors had the mans equipment vanishing in puff of smoke. To the reveal that the mans throat was ravaged. A pool of blood now where he lay. One thing however, had been missing, where was the wolf? From a pool of shadows the ethereal form of the wolf he had been treating as his companion emerged, no longer ensnared. Was it to be assumed that it could have done this the entire time to escape? The Wolf unlike its partner maintained it's ethereal form as this was natural to these beings. It looked once in the direction of Natsumi then to the opposite direction towards the north. There was no will for further combat.
The desperate action his 'tamer' had taken. Was one of the utmost cowardice. In the mans employ the wolf had gained intelligence, morality, empathy for its own kind. A wolf whom betrays his pack is no leader, he is carrion for the scavengers. The elder glass wolf vanished, although Natsumi would still be able to sense its presence. Proceeding north, at a walking pace to leave this isalnd. It was in no hurry. Would Natsumi find any reason to condemn this creature? Or would she let it be? The corpse of the man with nothing but a black cloth body suit would lay eyes wide from one who had experienced an unexpected betrayal.
"Foolish Girl!" The exclamation made by the man as the one clone dove inward to cast the wind jutsu which was immediately obliterated by the downward momentum. However, it did slow the blow. It slowed it just enough for the second clones surprise attack. Suddenly the mans hammer was flung back but not before sending the second clone hurdling into the ground like a little meteor into a puff of smoke. He had fully believed the second to be the real Shion as his ascent prevent him from seeing that she had made an additional clone.
His cockiness would get the better of him when the real Shion appeared behind him, He had to react quickly. To say that his hammer was not in a good position to counter someone behind him would be an understatement but he was aptly prepared do make do! Using a technique known as Komawari he's use both his hand to make a quick turning golf swing with a downward angle. With Shion's focusing on attacking his collar in this instance there would be little doubt she'd be able to react to defend against it...at the same time there was little he could do to defend against her. A technique to send her driving and buried into the ground below whence the two of them would finally land.
Unless Shion withdrew her attack chances were to some degree both parties would be injured but overall Shion's attack would be the more devestating. IF she did not second guess herself and withdraw her knife like finger would hit home right into his collar bone, in instance his attack would likely hit Shion would produce the follow up pulse. Blood would erupt from the mans neck as his eyes for the moment rolled back into his head from the pain. Both individuals would eventually be crashing down into the ground. Shion would luckily evade being buried into the earth as she had chosen to engage him airborne but to come out unscathed would have been a miracle. Two last ditch efforts against one another.
The man in plate hit the ground like a rock, and only then would he struggle to stand with a hand heavily applying pressure to the wound on his neck as he was spitting up blood from the rupture. Only standing due to using his hammer as a prop once more. His strength was gone now and he could barley stand if you could call being one knee standing. "Damn Ryouken...Where is this world headed..." The man would then fall forward on his face his hammer falling with it. As per the sign of a dead UHV the kill switch activated. Reverse summoning all his equipment, what was left was a dead man with his face in the dirt in nothing but blue underarmor.
~Techniques used~ Komawari [ Tight Turn ] Rank: X :: Simple Description: Allows the user to change the direction of one of his or her strikes up to ninety degrees without any loss in power, but only once per strike. Does not require the user be in contact with the ground. This techniqueβs rank matches the rank of the strike that is being redirected, minus one.
Uchikonda Kugi [ Driven Nail ] Rank: X :: Complex {A} + 12 = S+ - 1 From Tight Turn = S Description: Upon striking a person, other creature, or object, the user sends a shockwave of Chakra around the surface of whatever was struck and directly into whatever surface is below, making that surface crumble away. Typically buries something by moving it two meters straight downward on soft ground, though different surface hardness will cause changes in this amount. Rank varies based on the size of the thing being buried, with B-Rank being most effective on people and S-Rank most effective on large summons. Has no effect if the target is not touching the ground.
Shion would indeed continue to press her attack, though whether this was from bravery, certainty of victory, or a simple inability to retreat was unknown. The girl's brow furrowed and her eyes honed in on her target, even as the steel behemoth turned to face her. Her fingers made contact with skin, pressing in ever so slightly, and her pulse of chakra was met by a splash of blood... and a sudden, searing pain ripping through the girl's body. The sound of two shard thuds and a loud poof rang through the immediate area as, simultaneously, Shion's clone delivered a heel drop into the back of the man's head as he delivered his jackhammer blow into Shion, dispersing the clone and sending both parties sprawling to the ground. Another sharp pain took it's course on Shion's body. The girl balled up, grabbing at her chest and hacking as she struggled to catch her breath, obvious signs of broken ribs. Between the tears, coughs, and the pain each cough brought, Shion could make out a pool of blood forming from the area she had pierced with her attack. It was over. Good. That was all the sign she needed. Once she was sure there were no immediate enemies, her struggled gasps turned into a sharp cry of pain, broken intermittently by the occasional sob as she tried to collect herself. Good job, Shion... you survived... you can drop the tough guy act now...
Having opted to take the long trek to island by foot. The venturing party of Mizuki, Kaneo, and Unki would find themselves on the western coast of the island. There would be no immediate prescence. After all taking an hour to arrive and with all the chaos that had rought the island the neko-nin was by no means simply going to remain on patrol on this coast especially when she was not a sensor. The heat of island now nearing a hundred and eight degrees as the sun was reaching its peak. The waves crashed on their arrival. It was quiet too quiet.
Northbound the group would see that a mass of deforestation had occurred, to the south what could be considered the same but to a lesser extent. There was no sign of glass wolves or anything of the sort. The seagulls above cawed. On the plus side the group of three would be in peak physical and mental condition..well aside from maybe being a little sweaty. Now...where was Natsumi, Xion and Shion? Should they wait or venture through the forest into the eastern part of the woods to dig through the unexplored terriroty.
{Shion, Xion, and Natsumi are given permission to utilize this time skip to rendezvous having discovered the groups arrival via sensory abilities or may using said same sensory abilities discover and proceed into the village itself and likely the building with the fuuin seal beneath it.
The main party under Unki's command from here can either wait for a rendezvous or proceed as they so desire. The sensors are free to relay any information they could have possibly gathered about the geography with everyone.
