The more they bickered, the less time it took for her to run. "I let you finish first." She exclaimed, anger building up. "This is my true speed!" It was mentally distracting, which was enough for Austri, especially considering how fast she was going. She'd already shredded most of the track now, in half the time Deimos had done it. She knew she was better than him, and this only proved it!

"Suuuure you did." He rolled his eyes, leaning to one side to stretch out his right leg. "You are doing pretty well this time, that's true. Maybe you're just a slow starter, huh?" Seemed like that was a pretty common thing... but not always good, right?

Austri seethed at his sarcasm. She arrived at the finish line with a soft smile on her face that was replaced by the immedeate frustration apparent on her lips the minute she stood by his side. Her hand immedeately grabbed his arm. "You. Me. We're fighting. Now~" She needed to hurt something, especially him. This was a good way to get some training in, anyways.
