From the decks of the boat came a pair of return guests that were must certainly unwanted. No mellon, nor cherub, or even tikicat seemed to show anything other that displeasure at their presence. Heck, they'd been perhaps the only two harpies of the year prior to not have become involved with the whole thunderbird ordeal. Was it for the best? Perhaps. But perhaps they would have given the cabin crew less of a headache had the male left them with a reason to remain home. Or two.
"You find mother yet?" An extravagantly blue-feathered bird was perched some number of branches up in a crouching position as she leaned forward, her sharp eyes searching the crowd for the familiar figure. Sure, they'd ended up in room arrest from doing something similar in the ship, but that only to fuel her vigor further. After all, how were they to have narrowed down the possibility if they hadn't enough time to look?!
Damn that woman for just leaving her alone with the brat and never coming back!
Why... When she saw her... She would grab her so hard and take her right back home where she was supposed to be! With her! And leave the stupid one here...
"Don't see anything..." another bird of a slimmer build called from above, her wings pinned behind her as she shielded her eyes from the sun with a hand. "... Well... actually... I see a lot of things, but not her..." she had to clarify this bit. It would have been an issue if she'd suddenly become blind or something. Couldn't let Saira be getting the wrong impression.
Saira rolled her eyes at her sister's response, not in the mood for the sarcasm, humor, or downright stupidity she was speaking. "Well then. How about you give me some information that is actually useful? Doesn't that sound fun?"
Hatil paused, staring blankly before her. A few moments passed in this manner before she responded to her sister's provocations.
"I see food."

One guy was remarkably awkward in the way he exited the ship, his eyes hesitatingly looking around as he hid his claw behind his back. For how long he'd had such an appendage, he'd never really every grown to accept it as a part of himself, nor as something to appreciate in the remotest sense of the word.
Wellspring's eyes remained downcast as he walked, never making eye contact with anypae around him. It had become a sort of defense measure, not just to protect himself, but to protect others from himself. With a horrific power such as his - how or why the spirits had decided on it, he would never understand - these sorts of measures were necessary. It was part of the reason he'd chosen to move to the Spring, away from his family and few friends in Laisidhiel. Too many had accidentally suffered due to his own carelessness and lack of sufficient self-control. So much pain caused by one that wasn't even their own...
Nofaun knew what he was... His mother knew in a sense where he'd come from, but that was without a sense of his true origin. His originally aquatic nature was similar to that of a naiad, and indeed he did retain their ability to survive under the surface, but he was not them. Even so, they might have the answer to his self, which was why he had obtained permission from the chieftain to relocate there for the time being. Coming to these... festivities... had not been the plan.
Even now he was uncomfortable. Being here, around so many blood pae'il...
Just thinking about how horrific that day in his childhood had been brought uncontrollable shudders up his back and filled his stomach with acid.
Damn that naiad family that had insisted he come along, especially the male with the flute... Weren't the naiad supposedly allies? And yet, here they were, fraternizing with the enemy!

Lillibeth scanned sharply looking for her sisters or signs of trouble, Thus far all the hard work looked like it was worth while. Besides one of the empty-headed offspring of their Lady, none of the other Deities had shown and most of those getting off the ship appeared to be Naiad. It wasn't that she had anything against them, being under the water did wonders for the dears after all.
Oh oh, speaking of water doing wonders, there was someone she recognized. Her other favorite target hadn't been seen yet--unknown to her she had missed him--so this one would do. Forcing herself higher, the harpy turned and went into a dive-bomb approaching behind Haku Jo. Before she risked actually touching him she pulled up sailing a foot above the faun. Twirling to face him with one of her brilliant smiles she called out, "Oh, I thought a shrub was moving, well hello there~" A coo followed her greeting, such a sweet and generous harpy.

Jean Pool stretched, sauntering into the room. He'd worn his best dress, put on his most fierce makeup, and was 100% on point. Anyone looking at this fetching facade he wore, J.P. was certain, would see a striking and powerful woman. He'd even made the effort to stuff his chest and pad his hips, just to make it all the more convincing. He grinned, adjusting his own mind to portray the image of the woman he now believed himself to be. This was her night. J.P. would get his fun later, for now, Jean was about to rock this party.

Junior grinned wide, thrilled to death to be there again. Last year had turned out so epic, there was no way he wouldn't've asked Nereus to go again this year. Looking at the ravishing woman on his arm, Junior could only believe she as just as excited for this as he was. It was hard to believe this was their one year anniversary even. A year of bliss married to an amazing naiad. How lucky could he get?
"Are you ready for a night of bliss and love?" He asked, gently kissing her hand. The yellow demon had gone all out and wore a mostly new tuxedo. Only wore the once, for their wedding. Guardians, that would forever be ingrained in his mind. "Where would you like to go first? Dancing? Drinking?" Junior offered, wanting to do everything to make her happy.
Abby cracked a few joints, strolling towards the island party. She may not have anything to do with it this year, but it was always fun to visit her family during these parties. Maybe she'd get a few minutes to catch up with Uncle Himeros. The thought made the demi-goddess squee. It had been so long, he had to be having so much fun!

Dominique turned her head towards her date, a darkly colored pae named Baliel. The light counterpart knew her mother was here somewhere, but was blissfully unaware of where exactly. Surely they were in for a great date full of pranks and maybe a little kissing. Dominque blushed at the thought, unable to hide her excitement. These things were meant for romance, and after last year... She flushed scarlet again. No way could she think about it right then. They had a victim to find, and a ton of pranks to set up! Venus help her, this was going to be huge~
Sweetie was holding onto her other half just as tightly as he held her. Celestia only knew how much the two of them disliked cruises and boats. Still, it was worth it for the romance involved in Venus Day. "She looks so happy Dysmas." The fauny offered, thinking it was lovely for Monroe to have a love interest. Of course, Dysmas wouldn't feel the same way, that was his baby girl. He had to protect her at all costs.
"It's alright My Love." She smiled, looking up at her incredibly tall mate. "Some distance between us and everything will help a ton~" Sweetie agreed. "C'mon, lets go find some refreshments~" She suggested. Thinking maybe a fizzy drink would help them both calm down a little

Harmonia watched LIllibeth go off, keeping her eyes on the harpy. A rather self-important bird, but she was one of Miyu's flock. Was the faun a danger to her mother? Pondering the meaning behind the interest, she decided to keep a close eye on the faun. Before she could investigate, one shade of blue among the colorful pae caught her eye.
"Abby, dear!" calling out to her niece, she stayed put on the gang plank. Most of the pae coming and going were familiar enough to be of no concern but thanks to Lillibeth, Harmonia was alerted. Due to that, she wasn't ready to leave her watch, but at the same time she was glad to see a favorite niece.

What a morning. Time had flown by shortly after they arrived on the ship. A quick hello...followed by a longer hello in the sheets...
She was a real vixen. With only seeing each other once a year, they had to make up for lost time. So understandably, afterwards he fell into a deep slumber. When he final woke up, he noticed through the window they had docked. Which meant his Goddess was already up. He stretched slowly before sliding out like a puddle. Puddle a la Tristen. A yawn. Amber eyes lazily scanned the room before falling on a flower. Deja vu. Did she do that last year? He grinned and plucked it up to put into his own hair. Then he strolled out, a tune on his lips as a hum. "Now...where...is my...midnight haired lover..." He murmured to himself as he weaved between pae. But there were too many, and she wasn't by the load off area. Rather than run around like a crazy pae, he moved to the off ramp. She would find him...and he'd check out all the attractive pae coming in and out. Like that hunk of a fae with water wings, arm in arm with a faun. Mmmm! He wouldn't mind either of them. Or both. He wondered if they'd be open to a little more love in their life?
Oh guardians he had done it now. The moment he laid eyes on the red haired nymph he knew he was in trouble. Of course her vanilla scent and curves for miles made him follow for miles. And across an ocean. To this party. Oh boy what had he done. His dads were going to be maaad.
But she was SO HOT! So, so, so hot. Way out of his league. More than a 10. More like a 20. Hottest girl he ever seen, much less gave him the time of day. He paced the deck, his companion still in the cabin. What was he going to do? Well, he was already there. She was already there.
Almost on cue the door open, and out she came.
Guardians. SO HOT! Revise that 20 to a 25. His mouth was suddenly dry. "H-Hi." Oh good guardians. He was in over his head.

As soon as she laid eyes on her companion her smile bloomed. Ah yes, this hunt would be enjoyable. With a velvet laugh Grendell approached the younger male making full use of an exaggerated sway to her hips. Practically purring she asked him "How did you sleep?" It wasn't like she had any doubts but the game of coaxing an answer out of him was such a fun game.
The game would be less fun if she remained out of reach. In so, Grendell played it up get within reach and rolling her shoulders back to pop out her chest more while a delicate hand rested on a hip. Guardians gave her such a generous body, it was only fair to display it so. With the right stance nothing could match her confidence in her own figure.
He was just so cute, there was no denying that. Shame she'd have to bring him up deck, teasing in public offered its own rewards but was a longer game. There was still a goal in mind, actually a few looking at the male again. "Shall we see the island?" her question came with a smile and whisper of a kiss to be earned.
She was actually close to missing Tristen all together, between looking at Abby's direction and then back to the golden harpy. No one on the isle had hair like Tristen's though. By luck alone she happened to see the back side of a fae one familiar enough to try and get his attention as well, "Tris?" Ah, the poor Deity, this was supposed to be relaxing and now she was trying to be be everywhere at once. Decision made, she dismissed the harpy as that concern could be followed up on later.
Alert status lowered, now it was a matter of either party hearing her, Abby may have been too far by the time she called out but was Tristen able to hear her as he had passed? At this rate a neck message was in order. Such was the life.
Lillibeth laughed sweet as bells at his response, such a jester! "Oh no dear, I wouldn't call you blind.." She'd call him several other things but certainly not blind. "Your face just seemed so scrunched up earlier, it would have been a shame to hurt those little eyes of yours." Miming a pat on the head, she stayed out of reach but thoroughly amused. It could have been a missed observation, might have just been his normal face. Were shrubs that cruel? They did worship shrubs right?
